Should other outfit pieces, beside Helmet, have a hide options?

IMO, having no pants but having other armor pieces seems like a drunk/goofy thing. Although, some folks enjoy it (Bucket & Broom challenge/crown store items).

I strongly agree with you.

-Shoulder: Lots of NPCs don't have shoulder pieces, and they look cool. Some shoulder pieces have a clipping issue, or they fluctuate above the shoulders, instead of having to find another one that works (and may not look awesome with the rest of the outfit), we could just hide it.
-Belts: Same as above.
-Gloves: The majority of Chest pieces cover the arms, some have a wrist piece. Why cover those?! (the cool ones)

Other pieces that I don't care so much if they can or cannot be hide:
-Boots: It would be cool, specially to replicate beast races' look in TES III: Morrowind, or a pirate that lost his boots.
-Chest: To look like some barbaric warrior, or to replicate the Dark Shaman costume.

There's a couple of styles that give you the "effectively empty" look like Mazzatun Gloves or Soul-Shriven Shoes (I think it's those shoes, anyway, that are just little flip-flops), but the option to hide them altogether would be nice.

It would especially be nice to temporary hide the chest while working on dying pants and boots. It wasn't that big a deal when you could just drop out of the station to take off your robe, but now you have to pay to do that.

I would like this. There have been many times I wished I could have my gloves off, and I forget which set but I wanted to hide the ugly shoulders on something without covering up the rest of the set.

I voted for a toggle for everything. I mean, it's not like there's nudity in the game. But I'm wondering about this (and I don't have access to the public test server):

What happens if you create an outfit, but don't include something in one of the slots (say, epaulets)? Do the shoulder pieces you're wearing show through or what? Because if they don't, then why can't you could just not put something in that slot?

Also, what about lower level armors. I really like the level 4 Nord armor or lower level Imperials. Can we make an outfit of any of the levels or does it have to be a certain level?

Thanks for any insight. I wish I had enough room on my hard drive to test this myself. It looks amazing.

I second the flippity flaps, although I dunno how feasible this is without going in and separating them from every piece of armor.
I'd settle for just being able to hide shoulders though. It's so hard to find ones that are both subtle and don't clip with your chest armor or helmet

NM, answered my own questions by watching @Alcast great video on the Outfit system.

Glad to see we can use low level armors, but not happy that we can't hide the shoulders. Also, please return helmet toggle to settings so that mods which give us one button toggle will still work.

I think modders will be able to pull it off. A button to equip and unequip the "Hide Helmet" collectible.

Yes, please! Sure, it'll potentially break immersion in Cyrodiil, but I think all the teabagging vampire argonians in nord bathing towels do that already, so there's really not much to be lost.
