@code65536 Ok, I've leveled to 6 now and the preview for the next level rewards doesn't even show a bagspace upgrade (again). I also already bought one upgrade for this character.

EDIT: and, just as the preview said, I didn't get an upgrade at level 7

Okay, thanks for confirming. I guess getting a free 64K bag upgrade was too good to be true.

The bag space upgrade only drops if you haven't done the first upgade (400g).

Does anyone know if there's a way to get Prophet's Weapons at max lvl? I was thinking I'd wait and not open rewards until I level to 50, does anyone know if that would work?

A simple question:
Level 7: 500 gold, Bag Space Upgrade - If I upgrade bag space to almost full before hitting level 7 will it automatically upgrade the most expensive one (140 Slots [64,500 Gold] ) ?

Level 10: Sorrel Horse (account wide) - If I already have it will I get nothing ? Or maybe 10K gold (that is original price for this mount) ?

Level 18: Storage Coffer: Fortified, Choose one (furniture green): Imperial Brazier, Spiked / Imperial Bed, Single / Imperial
Bookcase, Swirled.
Level 20: A costume of choice and a Fire Atronach Crown Crate Choose one: Lion Guard Knight / Covenant Scout / Mages Guild Formal Robes
Level 24: Choose one (cosmetic pet): Alik’r Dune-Hound, Abecean Ratter Cat (only those 2 - tester confirmed)
Level 30: 4,000 gold and a Fire Atronach Crown Crate

Once per account. Also once per milestone (you can't get all 3 crates just by leveling up 3 characters to lvl20).

It must works as the Bag Space Upgrade, there should be no upgrade done previously in order to it drops as leveling rewards. The Bank upgrade will rarely appear because the majority of players already done at least one upgrade to the bank.

This bank upgrade never actually worked for me on PTS even when it was listed in the Level 16 rewards, and that was without any prior bank space upgrades. Unfortunately, I have no way to test this again, now that my live EU account has been copied to PTS.

I suspect bank upgrade only works if your bank is at the minimum. ESO+ seems to stop it having any effect (acts like the 100% upgrade it is). That's hard to test with/without.

My case was with bank not upgraded other than ESO+. No change to bank space at level 16. Was 120 (i.e. base 60 x2 with ESO+), stayed at 120. My theory is that you'll only ever see an upgrade from 60 to 70.

Interesting, I wonder if it's having ESO+ that's the problem

yes, with the new GEAR LEVELING system in the next chapter, gear will no longer simply be "disposable" when outleveled

A real question tho: do the crates awarded change with the season?

The Collectible rewards, including the storage coffers, go to your Collections menu. So, they are account-wide (shared across all characters) upon purchase.


Still baffles me why there are so many seasoned players looking for “free stuff” in this thread ... when these items are intended for new players and the high likelihood of having the item already.

storage coffer is a collectible, so you're able to use it on anyone

One other thing I noticed on live is that the Cyrodiil Assault crate content is not the fixed set shown. Two characters passing that level had differing content in their crate. I have not researched how many different crates exist.

Just finished levelling an alt and I didn’t get the transmute crystals at level 47. Has this been changed recently? Can’t see anything in the patch notes?

I received the 50 transmutation crystals near Lvl.50.

The leveling rewards will give you one of the smaller storage containers that you still don’t have, @KillahBrew. So, the name doesn’t matter.

Of course, if you bought all four small storage containers before level 18, you will lose out on the reward.

@Taleof2Cities The coffer from leveling up is available only from leveling up and cannot be purchased by any means.

Similarly, the Sorrel Horse is no longer available for purchase from the stables and is now exclusive to the leveling system.

Any further characters you level you don’t get the crystals. Rationale is that the 1st reward is seen as a way of introducing you to transmutation system going by the support response. Personally think this is a bit of a cop out and unnecessary exclusion for players levelling.

50 Transmute Crystals is a complete trait change, If you do normal activities that reward it you probably can change about 2 traits (100 crystals) per week. There are people that can level up a character from 1 to 50 in one day, if the 50 crystals reward wasn't once per account, people would be able to change 1 trait per day, just by farming XP with a new toon.

There are four 60 slot chests, and three 30 slot chests. The "fortified" 30 slot chests is the lvl 18 reward and cannot be bought. Just clearing that up for anyone searching specifically for that info.

Maybe I missed something. This is my second character via the leveling system. At level 20 I got a Crown Crate for leveling my first character. With the second I got nothing. It that the way this leveling system works only one crown crate at level 20 per account?
