If it's anything like transmogrification in WoW then each new armor and weapon slot would increase the cost in gold, but let's hope ZOS doesn't make each armor and weapon slot like 1000 gold to edit.

- You will receive one free Outfit slot, and additional slots can be purchased from the Crown Store.
- You can change your Outfit in a slot as many times as you want for a fee.
- You're not really changing the look of an actual item, but think of it more like creating a "costume" that you're wearing.

From what I understand you create the outfits and then can put them in your bank. That is what I am hoping.

I am all confused.

It seems to be an outfit-costume slot (much like other costumes) that you can shape for each item slot making up the full outfit, (including weapon) however you like as long as you (player or character?) know the motif and wanted dye. I assume you need to actual have to have the matching weapon type active for the outfit look to show up. also if you wear a costume I assume the outfit weapon look won't be showing, but the actual used weapon look, like it is now. You can change the outfit slot for gold or crowns. You can buy more outfit slots for crowns. So it's not an actual item being generated, so not bankable, tradeable, sellable
Account wide outfit slots come with it's own restriction. Every character only has access to that look. So if you have 5 characters you want an outfit for, and they all "need" to be different, you have to buy 4 additional slots. Instead of one slot and everyone is covered (granted then the does not know motif restriction on this alt kicks in). So we either shell out for looks (each alt needs to know it's wanting to use motifs, crafter or not), or for slots (want an unique look for a character instead of one another uses, buy a slot for it). Honestly I do not know what I prefer. I am leaning towards not shared slots, each their own motif knowledge.
