That would be Gabrielle Benele. We spend a reasonable amount of time with her during the quest line. I like capable and smart women and delving the mysteries of the universe.

She is unfortuantely a little distracted and sleep deprived atm... so its probably not a good time to ask her out.

Apparently, as a male using a male toon, we're pretty rare! I never believe a female too to be an actual female. Still surprised when I do run into a real female though.

On a more serious note... I have yet to encounter any NPC that -I. would think of like: "Yes! That is lover material!" in ESO. There are some for friends, "big sister" (naryu) or comrades, but... none that I really feel "I want this one as my characters mate!"... Buuuut, I guess I already know I am wierd, and find it quite difficult to find people compartible in that way with my wierdness, so... no surprise there.

Well, who comes closest then? Naryu?

I think Naryu and Razum-Dar are the popular choices from what I've seen

Girls playing ESO aren't that rare, never felt surprised when I meet one, maybe because I don't really care about other players genders as long they are a good company and I can have some lulz with them. Don't forget that TES is a very popular series, especially because of Skyrim that attracted many "casuals" of both genders, securing enough popularity for ESO too. Others female players are former WoW players in search for something new. I'm in some social guilds and all of them are abundant in active female players, okay maybe I exaggerate a bit, is not really 50/50, but their number is still considerable. Fun thing is that actual girls are less "girly" than a guy playing a female character, so they are harder to spot. Same as you, I consider everyone male until they reveal themselves as females, but that is mostly because I don't care, a MMO is not where I seek the love of my life, even that there are some stories and I already meet couples that meet over an online game, a MMO for me is only a tool to entertain myself together with some people that I may never meet in my life, except for few cases when we have meet IRL too under certain circumstances and had some good time.

Now I have a story that I find both funny and bit sad at same time. My main is a female character, you can see her name in my signature. I once answered a question on the zone chat and someone started to whisper me things like "are you a girl?", "I never meet a real girl in a game and I really wish to meet one". At first was fun, then the messages and questions started to become more and more desperate and I haven't replied. There were cases when I was playing a female character in ESO or other games and random guys started to flirt with me, even offer me gifts. I do enjoy playing characters of both genders and write stories based on them, they aren't extensions of myself, but puppets to that I give life, a personality (or more), a backstory, a purpose and I don't like to pretend that I'm a girl IRL even for a bit of fun so I tell them straight away that I'm a guy and become totally ignored by those that were very friendly with me at first.
