They can be fun in PVE, but that's about it for me. lol
Heck yeah! Add a stam cost to jumping! Also add a stam cost to walking! And, while we're at it, add a stam cost to slow rp walk, highest of them all! Also add a stam cost to riding a horse and swimming...am I forgetting anything? Oh, and let's add a 100% stam cost to emotes too, because reasons.
And, while we're on whole immersion topic, why do our characters stay forever young? Let's make them age and die after a week of playing!

@lagrueProblem is pebbles aren't part of the navmesh, they have their own mesh which has it's own collision detection. Navmesh is just terrain, anything places on the terrain is separate from navmesh. #TheMoreYouKnow
It doesn't have to be that way. I have worked on game engines that were perfectly capable of generating a combined navmesh from both terrain and placed (static) objects.
There's no inherent limitation to a navmesh that says it has to be terrain only ...

+10 to all the people getting mad and overly sensitive about the fact that jumping makes them look as if they have ADHD.
It doesn't affect me playing the game, I just ignore them, but I do automatically assume that players who jump around the whole time are at the bottom end of the age scale for gaming.
