What is the solo player in-game playtime of ESO ?

How much playtime (approx) do you think is needed for doing only solo PVE content like main story/guild story lines and all overland solo player content of base game + all DLCs/Chapters ?

Assume that one reads all the storylines and not just click through the dialogues.

No crafting or fishing or other funny stuff :)...just plain questing :)

Including exploration time if you also read lore tomes and interact with NPCs you meet along the way.

If you include stuff like achievements (killing all bosses, collecting motifs and doing the fishing stuff for example) then you're well beyond 300 hours; probably tripple that.

But I am not sure whether that is something you'd be interested in or if you're talking purely exploration/experience.

It took me 9 months to clear all zones with my first char doing everything (no map icons black, except those that I didn't want to do... i.e. quests that I didn't like/were not appropriate for my char at that moment.) from base alliance area to silver and gold.

I played about 2hs per week day, and maybe an avg of ~8hs on each weekend day, at that time... that's about, ~900hs, if I didn't make a mistake in the (approx.) calculation, though it's surely less since I took a break in the middle and also played other chars too, so I'd go with ~300 to 400hs of content, IMO just for the base game.

As a note, my main character had more than 70 days /played time one year ago (probably more than 80 now... haven't checked lately.)

EDIT: And yes, I voted for the incorrect option... I guessed wrong and then when I thought better I realized that I should have voted for the last options

If you do all solo content, ESO will take approximately a year to "complete." That was before DLC. I do mean all, however. Not just main quests. Main quests can be done within a day, but perhaps over weeks in a more casual pace.

Many, many hundreds of hours played doing solo content over more than 2 years. Still haven't done it all.

If you're going to take your time and read all the story content I think you could take forever to finish it all, if you wanted to.

Incase u r on a alt w/ all the gears and max cp, know the quests and go for "completion" all hotspots, quests, lorebooks, skyshards, worldbosses (assuming u can beat them alone and dont have to wait for respawn or other players) base/silver/gold take 8~10 hours per zone. (120~150 hours)
Coldharbour and craglorn aswell (16~20), worthgar and vvardwarkisland should take a bit longer (30~40), hews/goldcoast same (7~11), faster when u have stealthy gear, slower when u r not used to that. the starter islands 1~2 hours each (3~6). mainstory and guilds 10~20 hours.
So 186~247 hours, include listening to dialogue, playing relaxed (or not being in a hurry), backtracking, solving puzzles for the first time, drop and redo quests for stuck/wrong choice, waiting for respawns, horsespeed not maxed or no horse, higher ttk (no cp, no gear), dependance on other players for bosses...u r far far above 300 hours.

As a new player (having a job), if u enjoy stories and questing, base/silver/gold can entertain u for a year maybe. And than there r 4 more classes to try out and they come with so much different specs u could try...

Clearing all overland content, 300+ easy.

You figure each zone used to net you 10+ levels and 5 zones would get you to VR1 (which would get you to Silver)

Figure the same again for the other two alliances puts you to 150, and that doesn't include the 1000's of little side quests, etc.

So if you're listening to every dialogue, 300 is likely a very low estimate, I would think.
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

You are asking this question as if there is an end to it. I've done the main quests, still working on Caldwells Quest. I still have Orsinium to finish, Vvardenfell, Dark brotherhood and thieves guild. Oh, and then the new stuff that is coming out. I've only completed half of the provinces quests, collected less than ¼ of the lore books .... So much left to do, 300 hours won't even get it started.

I am at 220 Days Played and I have only gotten one character to L9 in Undaunted, most are at L3 to L6. I do group dungeons maybe 3 to 5 times a week, and that is mostly a random daily. I run trials maybe twice a month, and rarely if ever PvP.

So, 200 days* plus of Solo.

That's a bad example you're just a lil bit lost you can get from 0 to 9 Undaunted in 3h farming vet dungeons one after another not really a good example of longevity.

Per example the Solo playtime is very high because there's a lot of zones to quest and complete solo stuff like delves if that's what you enjoy doing, there's also hundreds of funny sets to try, looting them and trying them also add some time.

This game overall will last you for 2k hours even if you don't even like it that much, if you get into PvP and end game PvE it will last you for more than 5K hours, I am at 9k hours and mostly in PvP, recently came back from a break and I will probably play it non stop next patch due to Battlegrounds finally being released.

I am not lost at all, your assuming I want to level Undaunted. And, your missing the point I was making. I have played this game this long without doing much group activity.

I just got to 300 hrs and only cleared two entire zones and most of two others. I do tend to get sidetracked by fishing and material collecting though. I can imagine not even being halfway done w all zones and quests at 1000 hrs. in this case. Even without ever being sidetracked, if you decided to find all the quests and listen to all the dialog, delves, etc., I estimate it over 500 hrs.
