I'm not new and have lost many keeps. I would have applauded any 12 who could have taken it from us the way siege works these days. What I'm upset about is the fact that 50 people dont have anything better to do other than ruin a potentially good fight for a few AP. Its poor sportsmanship.

wow were you on last night? While DC had faction stacked Nickel to get it from about 20 AD? In which they were pushed back twice before piling on more? Dont say its AD - everyone does it.

We were outnumbered in Shor. We did our best. At least in Shor, when 30 AD are attacking 8-10 DC, the other 20 AD back off and watch the fight unfold. It's very commendable.

The funny thing about last Thursday in Sotha was how quick and large that response was. I could barely stop laughing as the stream of Ad coming into the outpost just didn't stop, it seemed such an overreaction to an outpost that had just flipped, not a prolonged defense.

no, they had their whole faction at Chal. That was the biggest tick but it was 650kish for me in total. I dunno how they could not take that keep. They had a lot more than EP at the beginning but then words spread, low pop, etc and then more and more EP showed up. I think DC went to bed.

no, they had their whole faction at Chal. That was the biggest tick but it was 650kish for me in total. I dunno how they could not take that keep. They had a lot more than EP at the beginning but then words spread, low pop, etc and then more and more EP showed up. I think DC went to bed.

That’s fine, i chose AD because it was default on my Imperial and i couldn’t figure out how to change the alliance and figured they did away with Imperial being able to be in any alliance..

Since i have one char leveled I’m not worried about it

Actually, AD has had lowpop bonus 3 times this week.

And later in the morning, after DC runs the map at 4am with a full raid and emping at 4:30, the small group fights are a lot better than they are in primetime; at around 8-9am. At least for me they seem that way.

This morning there was a nice series of 10v10 at Sej and Allessia against EP. Kudos for no one putting out seige on the lawn.

Your timing here is off--or more likely we have different primetimes. Last month I would have agreed with you (and ran mostly EP as a result). However, the double AP event has brought the presence of a certain DC streamer and the resulting hordes of their fans, who render the game pretty much unplayable.

They win by lag alone.

Roll both, then you can farm on which faction that has the least pop.

The only reason I’m able to put up with the idiots in the DC zone chat who type in all caps and think god gave them a mandate to protect every keep is that I know that they are the characters I’ve farmed the most (and with the least effort) when I play my EP toon.

It’s actually pretty fascinating how strong the correlation is between blaming everyone in /zone for losing a keep and being really really bad at PvP.

Someone should do a study.

Agreed. But while DC will vanish again, when the Lord will move on, AD will still be there.

edit: 50 AD just took BRK from EP going against 15ish defenders. AD is at two bars while EP having low pop a while now. Your faction don't get to complain about getting zerged or nightcapped. E V E R

Not sure if your agreeing or attacking me here, because you did easily farm me before I improved in pvp and I do write in all caps when ad doesn't keep a keep wall tagged or guard the side posterns or stack on flags when they are easy ap for a bomblade lol...

Don’t be part of the problem, be part of the solution.

When your faction is starting to outnumber and overpower opponents, it’s time to seek fights elsewhere. This doesn’t mean log off or switch factions, though these are options, it means maybe focus on defense for awhile, try to let the other factions get a foothold and stay in the game. Or just play on a different campaign for a while or go do BGs. Heck just take a break and go for a walk or something if you’ve been at it for a while.

The point of pvp is to fight other players, test your abilities as a player or as a group. Not to fight stone, timber, and npcs. Sometimes you have to hit a soft target if your opponent is stacking all their forces in one location, but if every target is a soft target, where’s the fun in that? Versus low pops the fights are less satisfying, the AP isn’t as good, and you’re actively encouraging your opponents from even coming back the next time. What’s the point in being king of a garbage heap?
