Where the hell did ep go?
I'm sick of seeing the entire map either completely blue or yellow, we need a touch of red!
I mean ok, looks like they'll be winning this campaign thanks to the low pop bonus, but still!

Yup, over a dozen blues camping Ghartok when I logged in after work. I so much as tickled a resource and got zerged down. Logged off 30 minutes later....

We went to play diff Campaigns.... Kinda like the cycle a couple months ago where there were no blues at all...
Tired of going in sotha and having to play horse simulator for a fight and when one is found , we get zerged by 3 bar ad who has the whole map Yellow and all buffs... So why spend another 10 minutes playing horse simulator, and getting zerged down again... We come for PVP not to give 50 Yellows joy out of killing one person.... Most of us went to different campaigns or we are enjoying battle grounds. I am sure after reading months and months of complaining on this forum ZOS will probably shut down the only NON CP Campaign.

Ah! That would explain the large group of lowbie EP on Kyne yesterday with vet skills and lots of dawnbreakers/meteors. More evidence supporting my theory: most players don’t really want “good fights”, they simply want to win.

In all fairness, many if not most, if they're honest, consider a "good fight" a fight in which they are tested enough to have to pay attention and don't get bored, but can generally expect to come out on top.

Gotta hand it to AD, I thought them going from 3 bar to pop locked to take Fara was a bit much, but I hopped on my AD mDK and found that there were pug wranglers and lfg groups spamming zone chat...why? There wasnt a single resource that wasnt yellow. You are becoming a parody of yourself now. Its like zerg bingo....

Ad are doing what ash is doing, nothing more, nothing less.
The only difference is that ad do that in prime time, asher's group while everybody else is asleep.

Was on today for about 2hours in cyro just to get reward tier 3 before campaign ends and EP and AD were trading blows really well, but we emped when ep LOGGED OFF. It wasn't late in the evening really, there was no reason to log out except that they gave up from the stalemate. They took sej and hit alessia got held off and as soon as we re-took sejanus it was like poof 20 or 30 ep no longer were present at the fight at BRK, then when they lost that cause so many less people AD went to chalman and there was barely anyone there to defend it. I got my reward teir 3 after taking chalman and left cyro.

I saw this a lot 2 months ago when I was playing in cyro a lot, It would be a good equal fight and then one side would just give up from any small loss and log out in mass numbers from the stalemate then that faction would just Faceroll the entire map and gain even more people doing it(partially from faction swappers). Then when more players log in to a map that is 100% another faction they complain about PvDoor, well what do you expect? You get a faction all riled up and fighting to the bone then 1 side decides to stop playing and of course they are going to sweep the entire map, and yea it sucks to log into a entire map, but that simply doesn't happen unless a side gives up. I look over at cyro all the time and see its either Fully Blue, Fully red, or Fully Yellow. Its a problem that all 3 factions have, as soon as they think they are being beaten a large portion of them just log out, and mind you there are quiet a few of them that are actually switching to a character ON the other faction. We have gone as far as too Tbag our own faction players if we know they are faction switchers.

In this precise moment AD have zero groups running but they're trying to slow dc down.
Dc have both bashu and asher's groups, so in one hour map will be entirely blue again.
funny thing is that ad has 2 bar pop and zero groups around, dc have two zergs rolling (although bashu's group is squishy as always, so they're only good at defending keeps), and only 1 bar pop lol.

    Lol.
If you want to compare the two things ask asher and bashu to try to flip the entire map in prime time, not at 3am.
Then we can make "distinction" .

maybe just maybe you reap what you sow, your side only plays late for easy grabs after everyone is sleeping and you lose it all during prime time

Funnily enough, tonight, DC 2 bars against AD 3 bars, emp and all scrolls then the AD log out after losing 2 fights.

    Definitely easy grabs.

Funnily enough dc waited until ad dropped to one bar before flipping the entire map.
When ad were sitting on 3 bars and dc on 2 everytime dc flipped a keep, they would lose it again after 5 minutes.
Guess waiting until ad go to sleep works better.

Interesting convo with a DC player last night, as I was logging off in Cyrodiil at midnight.

I was under the impression that the large DC group was an oceanic, European group.

    It’s not, apparently.

These are mostly east coast players, that are there overnight because they all play through the night.

    I get that, I guess.

I mean, no matter how you choose to spin it, it’s simply bush league to pvdoor a map at 3am, when there are no AD or EP players on. Period.

    But DC does.

And THAT’S what get me. That DC players would come to these forums and actually *boast* about winning a campaign... via a lowpop bonus like last month, or a continuoud overnight campaign this month.

It’s shocking. Laughable, yes. But, moreso shocking, that some Covenant players see this as a “win.”

    It’s not.

Then again there have been groups in the past notorious for playing off hours on purpose.

This is something some players in AD don’t seem to get.

The two DC Guilds in Sotha are there through ‘Prime Time’. They are the ones nightly facing a much larger AD force and often starting the night at their gates. The only difference is they play for longer, and don’t log off the minute they lose a few fights, They just keep plugging away at the map for 6+ hours every night. So, no, they don’t only come on when everyone logs off to flip keeps.

And just in case some people don’t realise, the map is often flipped two or three times between the time those DC log off and ‘Prime time’ starts again. Often by groups going up against one or two defenders at most from the time they log on.

I love how the current argument is basically:

"AD makes the map unplayable during the main timeslot by zerging."
"Oh yeah? well y'all just nightcap!"

Glad to see that nobody is really PvPing in Sotha on any faction, still.

If you primarily play "morning" or Aussie prime or whatever, your best bet is to play Vivec and get with some Aussie guilds. It's the only campaign with actual PvP consistently occurring at that time, imo. Rough with low CP, though.
