MagBlade Guilds?

Hello guys and gals.

I wanted to ask here in the forums if there is a Guild dedicated to Magicka Nightblades for DPS. For discussions and help in redefining the role of a MagBlade. I have seen a few videos here and there and I have noticed a couple videos the user may have mentioned having discussing DPS for Magblades with MagBlade ""Experts"". Once I heard that I started asking people in different "Zones" in in-game chat windows and I'm not having too much luck in my search.

Thus the forum thread.

I'm also not oblivious to a lot of people hating the specific class itself, so I will tell you a little about me and my goal.

First, when this game originally came out I had took it as an opportunity to recreate my main character I have been using since morrowind, upgraded in Oblivion then took it to a new graphical level in Skyrim & I was having a great time. Then Tamriel and yet again I had a chance to bring my character to life here. Think of it as a role play thing. So for the best way for me to do this was to make my character Breton naturally, and I just simply liked the name nightblade for a class. So when people started saying things like "this is a useless class" , "you'll never be good at anything" , "blaa blaa" none oft hat matters to me because it's my character.

So, as time past I noticed more and more people changing from role play, from adventure, to just being out right dangerous, quick, and all out malicious. I don't think there is anywhere I can go now that doesn't have a nest of bee's quickly crushing monsters and running off with no time for fun or adventure and even worse as I travel up to Cyrodiil and get caught in the war as I try to quest, and usually always either get "Ganked" by this super tank or I get quickly dead by some blade wielding stealth dude that kills you in a second flat. And lets not even discuss "zerg's".

Sure I __could__ make my own tank since it seems like people are more likely to share the """Secret""" build as I'm seeing more and more, but I rather at this moment stick with my Nightblade and try to make her strong enough or deadly enough in DPS that if I want to just quest in PvP area's then I should be able to hold my own and go toe to toe with these beast surprise attack ganks.

So, here I am looking for those that have the same interest. Magicka Nightblade Class, DPS.

Are there any dedicated Guilds out there I can join so I can learn more and maybe help out testing theories or is there some kind of discussion group for people like us?

I think you're better off just getting a good Pvp magblade build.

I highly doubt there's a skilfull magblade only guild, most skilled players have multiple classes.

There have been so many MagBlade threads on the forums recently, look here for a list of all threads. Many of them are negative, but you'll find that for any class, look at the positive ones!

@Taylor_MB , It's a shame really. I thought there would be a guild looking for more people to collaborate with in making this class hit it's full potential. There probably are people out there, but they are hard to find. Also, thanks for sharing your build. I'll take a peek. I'll share this video:

@Runschei , it's possible. I love to mis-spell all the time or just do it out of spite. Or maybe I just have Homer Simpson's fat finger syndrome.

@Wrecking_Blow_Spam , I recently made a Warden class, but mainly because I wanted to see that Gray Bear. But I have been told I could make some kind of tank with it. I haven't tried yet, however suffice to say I am not opposed to diversifying my experience and make different builds. It's just that my primary character, which is my first build, was really meant for role play to continue the tradition of gaming for years with elder scrolls in every upgraded new game since morrowind. I truely had no clue as to this whole thing about quickly and savagely destroying monsters to farm things or to make it malicious and dangerous for PvP. I think it's interesting to be a bit competitive and I can be at times, however for me I had a whole different way of thinking when I first started playing. In fact I can't even remember now when I was beta testing if I got involved in PvP or if there even was such a trait. I do remember that darn prison and how everything wanted to kill me.
