A Mary Sue is a character that is the epitome of innocence and can do no wrong. Naryu is the embodiment of wrong. She's the Morag Tong's head honcho of Contract Killing and she does it without remorse. If your name happens on a piece of paper, she'll put a knife in your throat without hesitation.
Besides she's not all that. Don't you spend a large amount of time during the Deshaan questline doing all the work for her?
That's not ever been the definition of Mary Sue I have known. I've always gone off what's on the Mary Sue test site.A Mary Sue is a character that is the epitome of innocence and can do no wrong. Sure, but they also recognise your work as well as other NPC's around. From what I've seen so far Naryu suffers the issue of every NPC saying how great she is and generally ignoring your part in events. Also, about this "doing all work for NPC". It is the game design. To be honest, out of notable NPCs, only Kurog picked up a sword and fought beside us at some point. Rest are more or less the same. And if this disappoints you, wait to see how founder of mage's guild behaves.

Most of the time it's "Hero you go do this whilst I do this other thing" only to meet up with her slaying someone in a super "awesome" way then tell you how great she is before twisting your reply into innuendo.
Sure she doesn't ruin the entire expansion or make the game unplayable, but there are some of us (I guess me and OP thus far) who just find her character irritating and too much.
This was one of the worst questlines I have played in ESO I am sad to say.Sun-in-Shadow was the character that annoyed me the most. Her quest line being very long also added to my suffering.
