Solo queuing worked fine for me yesterday, there was some waiting time, but at most around 5 minutes. Some matches were almost instant. I didn't haven't Hammer the queue button which my index finger was very grateful for.
What's still not good is the team distribution, lopsided matches 4v2v2 or 1v2v3 is just not a whole lot of fun. CTF and Domination are quite boring in the current state too. Overall I see improvements, but ofc I didn't try joining with a premade group.
@Mojomonkeyman
Was the char Mojo yesterday yours? If so, well played!

The queing process gets stuck in "Forming Group" After that you get just que´d again or the "one person declined"-message pops up. First BG worked, after that it doesn't work anymore for my group or alone. Tested it with 4, 2 and alone.
@Insandros No, in this case people don't need to be specific. The devs need to just start up a damn pc and try it for themselves. They should already know this stuff.

@Anne_Firehawk @ZOS_GinaBruno
Note that this is true not just for Battle Grounds, but even Random Dungeons queuing.
At least it has been for me and a friend.
Exact same behavior as described.
To be honest, I was sitting on the toilet when reading this post and had the biggest trouble of keeping myself from laughing really hard. Thank you for that.

While yesterday’s patch did fix many of the issues with the queuing system, there is at least one issue that wasn’t completely resolved. This is preventing you from joining a Battleground, and makes it so you wait forever in the queue without ever being added to a Battleground. This is caused by a intermittent edge case where you are attempting to join a Battleground just as it’s ending, causing you to get stuck in a waiting state. You will also sometimes see an endless “Forming Group” message when this happens. Until we’re able to fix this issue in Monday’s patch, our recommendation is to relog if you end up waiting in a queue for more than 5 minutes, then re-join the queue. Based on the nature of this fix, we’re not able to do a hotfix – it must go into a full patch.
Yesterday when we asked you to describe the exact problem you were encountering, we wanted to be sure we had fixed all the other outstanding issues (such as needing to press “Join Queue” multiple times). We do test fixes, but sometimes see different behavior on our test servers than on a live server that has many more active players. We appreciate the help we received from everyone that responded; it clarified what was, and was not, working with Battlegrounds.
We understand it's frustrating to encounter issues such as these while entering our new Battlegrounds, and we’re doing everything we can to address the issue as quickly as we can.

In this case, it's the type of fix this requires. We're only able to hotfix certain things, but more complicated fixes (things that touch the actual code, for instance) need to go into a full patch. Full patches take time to build, test, etc. and also require downtime. Even if we were going to try and push the patch out early, it's something that can't be done immediately. It's unfortunate, but it is what it is. As mentioned in the post, relogging if you're stuck in the queue is a temporary workaround.McCracken79 wrote: »ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Hey guys,

Gina, may I ask why you wait until the Patchday, Monday's to push out fixes? I am assuming that you have the fix for it now or are close to finishing it. I understand why it's done on the console but for the PC there are no restrictions. This means that we will probably not to be able to group up for Battlegrounds this weekend again and have to wait until Monday's patch, also assuming it will come out next Monday.
Every other MMO I played pushed fixes out when they had the fix ready, whether it was a hotfix or they had to bring down the servers. Sure people complained but at least things were corrected relatively quick.
Yep, we're aware this is affecting dungeons as well. The fix we have going into next week's patch will address Battlegrounds and Dungeon queuing.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Hey guys,

@ZOS_GinaBruno
Thank you for the update.
I reiterate that this does not happen solely with Battleground queues, but also with the other dungeon finder.
Both the "eternal" forming group and the endless looping "one person declined".
Given that there will be a fix for BG finder, it might be worth it to look at the Dungeon finder as well.
Thanks and regards!
I just love how NA gets the maintenance on Tuesday due to Monday being a holiday and EU gets it on Monday despite this day being a holiday at least in all of Germany.

If the fix can wait until Monday, it can wait till Tuesday so the maintenance is not on a holiday in Europe...
This is caused by a intermittent edge case where you are attempting to join a Battleground just as it’s ending, causing you to get stuck in a waiting state.
I was also thinking that nobody should ever be joining a battleground in-progress. People want to play battlegrounds in full, not ones that are partially complete already.Sabbathius wrote: »Ummm...shouldn't such cases be pretty much the first thing you test when adding a battleground system?
