I love my mNB. My most played character. Feels weak and the only thing going for him is going away if pts goes through at current state.

2. You kill enemies one by one
3. Each enemy you fight dies before they can fight back
4. You target the Sorcs first.

As long as:

Killing enemies one by one is every 1vx as for a reveal i can show you a vid of a 6vs1 while they spam flares and radiant mage light. Stamblade in PVP is a class everyone can play decent but few will ever be extremely good at because you cant get carried :P

Great, we can 1vX below average players(Stam hits hard right?). Doesn't change the fact we're still the worst class in the game. And stamina sorcerer is the best 1vX class actually, sorcerer in general.

Originally NB was intended to have high singe target (focus) dmg... but we all know that ZOS hates NB at this point.

I gather some of you guys were not around since launch. The class balance will never be perfect, but it has improved so much since then, it is pretty amazing.

No idea about PVE builds, but in PVP at least, you can finally roll a viable character from any of the four classes, your choice of stamina or magicka, light, med or heavy armor.

At launch if you played stamina build you would be kicked out of PVE groups and in PVP stamina peasants ran in terror from the wicked, villainous vampire lord magicka DKs. Stam NB had a really tough time and finding a stam sorc in Cyrodiil was like spotting a unicorn. Mag sorc have always been pretty strong though.

Currently, mag NB is probably the most challenging to play, but it is still quite viable.

NB overall compared to the other classes, especially for dueling. NB is good when you pretty much running the meta and have a ton of CP. That being said, even meta NB lags behind meta magicka Dk, templar, sorc.

NB is a very focused class and probably requires more paitience than the others.

No idea tbh because I don't have experience in PVE, but judging by patch notes and feedback I've seen on this forum during the past few years, it seems balance has also improved a lot in PVE. At launch I know stam builds would get kicked out of PVE groups and a lot of people quit ESO because they didn't want to be shoehorned into playing with light armor and staff.

Now any class can play dps and tank, but templar is much stronger as healer. With the upcoming patch there will be slightly more balance among the classes for playing healer role, but DK, sorc and NB are still less optimal than templar or warden.

What they say is that they look at both pve/pvp equally, you know? PR? There was a time where cyrodiil pvp blossomed and shined over any and everything(DK with engine guardian 2h/bow op with leap...memories), through time it got stale and through time pve was creeping up(One tamriel was the nail in the coffin obviously). PVE players dominate the base because you have to include the roleplayers, the people who just log in to do writs lol...etc. More rewards there as well, ask the millionaires.

Nightblade PVP: ganking 1 trick pony (yawn)

Nightblade PVE: crap group utility, sacrifices way too much mitigation for decent dps, and has bow as it's ranged damage dealing (ZOS will never let bows compete with Sorc ranged)

The game is anti melee in general. Pew! pew! aoe lightning. Pew!
