Leaked - new eso plus bonus. Double bank space. What do you think?

Well.... As a casual eso+ I must say this is bad. Because what will happen if you have more items in the bank and you unsubscribe? You can't use the bank until you could clear it to your normal bank space... I would hate that, and i don't want to play the mini game inventory every time I unsubb. Cleary it's a trap.

I'm pleased. happy to support the game with money if they give us value . given how much entertainment the game offers me- compared to a movie, a netflix sub, internet, etc- a couple hundred dollars a year isn't much. but as long as they give us valua for it- that means storage, morrowind, access to all new content, discounts on housing, costumes- and stuff like that- and of course more character slots . they have to be generous with it. bank space is a good start- but not enough- we should have housing storage, an armoury and all the things that skyrim had, the ability to store , sort and swap entire sets between characters. this wouldn't be hard to do- and people would support a good product with good money.
i play the game alot- given the amount of entertainment hours its provided- a few cents a day is nothing. as i said- I'm happy to support a company that honestly and earnestly provides value , convenience and quality of life features.
. BUT - when they abuse it- and start to rip of the goodwill with crap like crown crates is when i close my wallet up. when they intentionally create inconvenience to then turn around and act like storage is a gift- and a surprise present- rather than a basic fundamental feature that should have been offered initially- and more fold with eso+ - well then- i get the feeling I'm being played. and thats what i m getting now.

Since the furnishings can't be deconstructed for materials, the added bank space will be nice to have. Looking forward to it.

More pay to win. Fine by me.

I had no idea inventory space in your bank effected your stats or skill of play so directly.

I'm using a stamina dps right now, maybe I should check out this new bank-slot dps.

I was thinking about unsubscribing and now the OP says it's impossible.

Well that's just great! It's hopeless. Guess I will keep my subscription.

I think this is a wonderful incentive to encourage subscription numbers.

what does WoW give you for your subscription?

what does FFXIV give you for your subscription?

im not saying these games dont give you anything, but im sure they give a lot less.

ESO was founded on subscription. it literally helped fund the game development for consoles. despite no real appreciation being shown for that by zos or other players, we long time consistent subscribers know very well we are literal saviors and unsung heroes of ESO.

you love this game? support it with your wallet.

that being said, ZOS please lower the price of motifs and mounts in the crown store. Dont be like Games Workshop and price loyal customers out of the game.

But im sure those pricings are controlled by Zenimax parent company marketing team forcing ZOS to create items to meet their sales quota figures.

I love this game, I just wish it actually worked.

I'll happily use the extra space, but wish that instead we'd gotten some form of container for housing that would allow us to actually organise the contents of our inventory.

I'm all for the idea, as an ESO Plus subscriber like myself and someone who also has a filled bank account, this will most help me, and will increase the value of ESO plus even more. However, I'm kind of bummed they didn't get a bit more creative and use the extra storage with our player owned homes. Seems like a great idea though, but it could have been done with a bit more creativity.
My house is just sitting there with pretty much no real in game benefit to my characters.

Well now I understand why storage was scrapped form housing....
Looks like ZOS has found something that will attract more people to eso+... but is it ? ? ?
Already you can have fully upraded bank with 240 slots dedicated for crafting mats, and still you get like 20 empty bank slots for gear. Additionally if you really need a lot of storage - you have 200 slots max per character... with 8 character slots that is like 1840 slots without spending $ on ESO + & additional character slots.

    Exactly this ^ Zo$....

I am not an expert here but I would argue that adding +10 bank upgrade for crowns (yes even if you already reached the 240 cap) in a reasonable price would give ZOS more profit than ESO+ itself....
Sure it would be one-time payment but significant more % of players would use that.
But hey... I am just saying...

Ok. I have 240 bank space. If not mistaken that means I will have 580 bank space or they will set that max bank space to 120 and thus with this new feature it can go back to 240 spaces. That would be outrageous.

Ah no, they set standard bank space to 10, and ESO+ accounts would get 20 total bank space.. Naturally.

I'll be the first one in line with a pitchfork when ZOS does something wrong. This isn't one of those times. How people can complain about this is mind boggling. It's not like they took something away and hid it behind a paywall. It's an incentive to sub.

I agree with you. Because of ESO anniversary I decided to buy 8 new accounts in order to create my own guild banks. Now I organize my things between 2 guild banks and my bank. 1 guild bank for long term items like motifs, filled soul gems, some purple gear I may use or test in the future. On my second guild bank I put all trash like intricate gear and enchanting glyph for deconstruction on new chars along with lots of provisioning recipes I already know on all my chars.

On my bank I only put immediate use items like the crafting writs mats (food and essences), all the gear to be researched and all bound items like monster sets and BIS gear.

I like the idea. I would like to see crowns go on sale more often though. They are incredibly expensive and I refuse to spend money on both subscription and full price crowns. I do tend to buy crowns when they are on sale. Seriously they didn't do much for the anniversary. Crown sale should have come then as a thank you to all who play. No Xmas sale either... poor job on missing both of these chances to thank your loyal players.

No, no, no. We get crowns with our subs. The items should take regular sale cycles. Like costumes, buy one, get one free. Well, can't happen like that but they could be cut down by half. Asking me to buy something with real money isn't saying thank you. Its giving me something for the real money I've spent. That would be a nice tank you. And it works out the same for the non-subsciber. They buy crowns for full price but can buy items on half price sales. Every week the store should be cycling through its inventory with sales. Then when the stuff isn't moving on sales, its time to retire it to the crates. Again, a thank you shouldn't cost you a thing especially when you're already spending money. If they keep having sales on the actual crowns themselves, we're just going to keep seeing the store increase in price to thank you for the purchase.
