Is it my imagination guys, or are the people that are having the worst time in ESO, the same type of players that thought only the top 0.5% of players should have anything in other MMo's?
You have someone whining about getting crap for posting his uber DPS after a fight
The PAWS drones, posting yet another CC shame thread
And the usual why can't this be more like <insert raid centric MMO here>
In every instance these threads are getting overwhelming push back from the community, that if anything tells me that despite some balance and tech issues, ZoS has done something right, by developing a game the other 99% of the player base can enjoy.
It's not really hard to understand that one's pleasure works against others immersion. As long as this is an mmo there will be people complaining on other people for x reasons, just because we must see each other in game and we always compare.azoriangaming wrote: »I really don't understand when people complain about other people for buying things from the crown store with their own well earned money and funding the longevity of the game.

The pushback here isnt the Crown Crates. Its the way this s'wit is going about objecting to Crown Crates. Hes blaming people for spending their money and trying to make them out to be terrible people for actually using what they bought. On top of that hes acting like we're dealing with the dregs of society when it comes to ZOS. Its a very extreme and unpopular view even amongst PAWs players.

I also don't like those animated crown crate mounts but do not complain on the people riding them. In my opinion these mounts do not fit to elder scrolls lore and they break my immersion too a bit. As a part of community though I have to move along and be over it.
Every time I log in. They aren't even playing the game. They just stand around at every wayshrine and crafting hub on their $300+ casino crate mounts, waiting for attention I guess.
This is what your agenda to milk insecurity and the need for exclusivity through gambling has done to the game, ZOS.
I don't even want to log in anymore. Thanks for giving me another reason to loath humanity.

You clearly have a problem with how people spend their money.

As I said before the vast majority of PAWS players haven't got the memo. Maybe PAWs should just call this one a loss and move to something else? I don't think the mods are going to get any more tolerant of their behavior.

Can someone explain to me what this thread is about?
Wet can win mounts thru gambling??

It's not gambling. There are crown crates you can purchase in the store which contain random cosmetics, of which most people want the mount but its random what rewards you get. Not quite gambling since you always get a cosmetic, but most people buy crates hoping for the mount.

Obviously ZOS should apply the crate RNG to the rest of the game because most people I talk to with an Apex mount say the same thing: "ya bro I got lucky, I only bought a few crates!"
This is every gambler. It's rare to find one that doesn't profess to win more often than they lose. Of course, it's normally BS. In this case, no one wants to admit to how badly they were fleeced.

Ah yeah it is gambling. Whenever you play the odds to win you are gambling. When you are spending real life money on a chance to get it's gambling. When you keep spending money on the hopes you will receive a reward - this time - it is definitely gambling.
That said, insulting people who are gambling on the crates is not going to help them. Or help with their potential addiction.

And what do you consider winning? Technically everyone's a winner, just some winners receive better rewards than others. You never lose.

No one is gambling for any of those potions and riding lessons. The vast majority are gambling for those mounts. Or the higher rewards under the Apex Mounts. Theres a reason why the drop rate on the Apex rewards are so low. No one but those defending ZOS are pretending that those Apex rewards arent what everyones actually aiming for.

I think its hilarious you think you know and can speak on the motivations of the majority of PAWS players.

Well of course I understand they aren't as desirable, but I'm just explaining why it isn't technically gambling. Otherwise it would be illegal.

Exactly, I just call bs on all the unbelievable luck that some of these posts have.
