Metafae✭✭✭✭✭DoTs show up as their total damage in your death recap. You probably stood in fire for ages and took that much damage over some time, and it eventually did the killing blow, leading it to show it's total damage as the final hit.4 -

No man, I had just got there, look at the combat log, it was one attack that hit for 155k.I use to be a PVP'er like you but then I took a lag spike to the knee.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭I believe "Salvo" is a fire arrow barrage. So a bunch of arrows set you on fire, probably doing like 8k/damage per second. You healed through most of it but eventually one of the 8k ticks killed you. However, death recaps show total damage by a DOT over *all* ticks, even the ones you healed through. So the numbers can look astronomically high but do not indicate getting hit by one attack for that much damage all at once.1 -

Yeah, no it wasn't a DoT, I had just got there all the damage hit me at once. Just like in this video posted by NBrookus in this thread.LegendaryChef wrote: »Are you a vampire?

Look at his CLS window in the screenshot. It was one hit.
