The whole point of the word is to have "necro" in it so mutilating that part makes no sense.

When the grammar Nationalsozialismus strike.. they are usually wrong. Many, many words have alternative pronunciations.
That's just within the borders of one country. There are so many variations to pronunciation in the USA that not even wikipedia can keep track of them.
In many cases it's like looking up the "proper" pronunciation of bar and then going to boston and calling everyone idiots.

I dont even understand how this is a debate. Its a fusion of the words necro and potency. Neck-Row-Po-tense.
If you think anything else, youve got a screw loose in your head.

Kiwis pronounce their E's with an I sound.

Well actually there are plenty of logical points on the contrary.
You wouldnt say metro-po-lis
You wouldnt say necro-po-lis
You wouldnt say omni-po-tent
You wouldnt say in-comb-pe-tense
You wouldnt say astro-logy
No necropotence is not a real word but it exists within the english language of the game and i think proper rules of the language with similarly structured words should still apply.

Yes. Becoming more common in this country. No longer live in New Zealand, its now New Zilland.
Get an Australian to say six....
Necrosis is a real word.
Potency is a real word.
Combine Necro with Potency and you get Necro-Potency.
Drop the Y, replace it with an E.
Necro-Potence.
Two real words combined to create a new fake word: Necropotence.
I think the pronunciation becomes fairly obvious if you don't try to overthink it.

No more obvious then when you take a real word like omni and a real word like potence and combine the two. The pronounciation is fairly obvious to an english speaker. Om-ni-po-tense, not omni-potence.
If it was an actual marriage of 2 words it would be necro-potency, hyphen included.
The prefix is necro meaning of death or corpse. And the suffix is potens which referes to potent. Just as in omni (meaning all or all encompasing) and potens refering to potent.
Omnipotence
Necropotence
