MANY OF US CAN STILL NOT GET A CONNECTION WITH THE SERVER AFTER 2 MAINTENANCES AND 10+ HOURS

    hadn't been able to get back in over past 2 announcements it was fixed, tried again just now and saw after starting client from launcher the usual no news - which is sign of no connection (as EU I see it pop up and can connect, but NA nope)

    but lo and behold, after 3-4 attempts, got in.

    did writs on 2 chars and horse training, then kicked, and now unable to login.

    my head is totally confused over whether to be happy at least i got 2 chars to do some writs and horse training, or upset at myself for even trying because now my characters are all not-synced for horses. Writs don't care so much about, the daily rest is long ways off tomorrow - but it will suck to resent all my chars to same horse training time (again).

    What i did was exited game and launcher.
    went to my installation folder, inside teh launcher folder ( X:\xxxx\Zenimax Online\Launcher)


    i renamed the programdata folder to programdatabak.

    relaunched the game

    Game was working perfectly (well, perfectly for ZoS Standards).

    Played EU during downtime.

    Cannot connect to NA now. Can still connect to EU.

    Edit: ran another repair from the launcher, allowed me to get in game but terrible ping even for me (550+)

    This looks more like a Firewall issue @ ZOS. I bet someone remotely just pushed a new Firewall Policy and went to sleep and never checked to see if connections are getting through. No announcements...Login never makes it there.

    How many times has it been so far, 4 or 5 weekends of this mess in 2017, right? I mean what the actual *** are they doing? I wish they'd be a bit more transparent about the problems they are having, because when they don't say anything about it other than "server problems" and pretend that it's the first time it has happened, it really *** bothers me. I mean that's not so unreasonable is it?

    Also yeah, I too cannot log on NA either. GG.

    I was on the last effin boss in Ruins of Mazzatun, and guess what. I crashed. And I couldn't log back on.

    I haven't been able to log in for over 20 hours thanks to this error 200 issue. There are way to many of us having this problem for it just to be heavy log in traffic like they have claimed. At this point, with ZERO acknowledgement that this is a separate issue, i'm worried that those of use facing this error will be left high and dry again once the servers are "fixed" for a 3rd time.

    I restarted my client because the thingie suggested I do. However, after restarting, I still cannot log in. What gives, man? I just wanna play. =/

    ESO isn't the only mmo out there that experiences DDoS attacks. EQ1/EQ2, WoW all experiences it and all have log-in issues while it's happening. It's not an old excuse and is quite valid.

    Well.. okay. You have a point. 24 hours without an explanation and telling us that it's resolved and then telling us it's a DDoS attack is pretty lame. Hell, the company who runs EQ1/EQ2 tells us immediately - considering EQ1 is 18 years old.

    I got onto my account with the rename program folder workaround, however my husband is not able to log in even with the workaround.

    Still, same thing, error 200.

    Can be...or, no. Anyway, communication still a problem here and yes, in my opinion, the problem not is DDOs.

    This is awesome been 24hours of no game play. Missing double ap but the best part is I wont be able to get my worm cult ring I was farming for. Ticket has been sent. Better see results.

    Why not change the note at the top of the forums to reflect that there may still be issues and link the link you put here.

    Instead of it saying

    "The connection issues for the North American megaservers have been resolved at this time. If you continue to experience difficulties at login, please restart your client. Thank you for your patience!"

    My patience is running out. It seems like every patch to fix "minor" issues causes some MAJOR problems for the players. If they were really under a DDOS attack, they should be able to see it happening by monitoring the servers. I realize that would require ZOS at actually monitor the game in real time. Like a previous problem with the game after a update, this one won't get proper attention until it affects the play of a ZOS employee. This is what happens when the Game Director is only concerned about making the game bigger, not better.

    So not being able to log in most of the weekend, I've resorted to trying some of the fixes posted on the forum.

    Trying again and again to log in - no

    Trying both the launcher and direct launching the app - nope

    Restarting router - zip

    Repairing the game - nada

    Flushing DNS - nuh-uh

    Renaming program folder - didn't work

    So what's next, and do I need one or two live chickens?

    Well, glad to see I am not the only one still unable to log in and play after two days. I guess back to 'Other' in order to hold me over and keep me occupied?

    Really sucks tho, keep coming home after work wanting to relax and craft some furniture and do some quests but can't :-/
