List the top 3 reasons that have aggravated you so much that you considered leaving the game.
    I can only name two:
    - Fallout 4 or another new game I must play right this second
    - Boredom due to the repetitive nature of the game.

Ironically, I just find myself shifting from one boring game to another. Soon, I'll be playing Minecraft or Fallout 4 again.

This generation of games sucks. It's either resells of older games or a few gems like Dishonored 2.

Where the hell are the good games? Isn't this gen supposed to deliver us better games?

    Right.

Also senseless nerfs and gambling. I stopped being OK with paying to be crapped on. I unsubscribed months ago and since the game is unplayable without the crafting bag, I haven't logged on since.

    My reasons:
    • No new classes
    • Lack of work on PvP
    • Rng, especially with regards to master writs
    • The poorly designed CP system
    • Boring DLC (not a big fan of stealth game-play so the last 3 DLC have been blah)
    • Poor quality coding and networking
    • Constant FPS spikes when less than 50% of my CPU is used
    • Bad pet I.A. (which messes with any pet build I want to make)
    • Lack of creativity (the copy and paste DLC for example)
    • The grinds (motif grinds being the most offensive)
    • The neglect of stam 2h weapons in PvE
    • The increasing use of fast, spaz reaction, one shot mechanics.

To be fair, if there was a new classes released about a year ago I wouldn't have too much of an issue, but man are they slow as hell about it.

And you people leave cuz lag, loading screens, games graphics not the best there is out there???

I wonder why, I wonder why games are not that great anymore content wise, overall built wise, feeling immersed into the game wise.

You think these dolmens mean anything, they immerse me into game? It's a grind. You think these dungeons immerse me into game? its a grind. You think CP immerse me into game? its a grind.

Back in Everquest, death, gear, loot, groups, cities, xp, traveling system by boat having to run everywhere, and much much much much much more, made that game immersive and great as it was and how its constantly remembered and used as benchmark... Back in the days of Everquest.... Benchmark Benchmark Benchmark.

You think anyone will ever say "back in days of elder scrolls online".... NOPE.
Nothing but people who whine about loading screens, lag, and more stupid stuff... Rather than game not being immensive and memorizing.

    0 reasons to leave.

Though I do refuse to run 4 mans and raids because of the RNG system which is severely dated.

Impress me by replacing it with a coin system for participation in which players can use coins to buy the armor piece they were looking for in the dungeon/raid. That would improve it greatly.

The crafting bag. I'm a subscriber and the crafting bag is the only thing that ever came close to making me cancel my subscription. It isn't just a "convenience", it's a fix for a horrible design issue with crafting and the inventory, and they basically force you to pay them every month in order for it not to be broken. It's stupid, and everyone should have access to it. Fixes for broken systems should not be benefits that only subscribers get.

In the end, I stuck around because I still just love the game, and aside from some lingering technical issues, I feel it's done nothing but get better and better over time. But the crafting bag still sticks in my craw. Two of my friends who aren't quite as attached to the game as I am cancelled their subs over it, and I've had to hide the existence of the damn thing from a friend who bought the game recently, because I'm afraid that when she finds out she's being crippled as punishment for not subscribing, she'll leave and never look back.

This right here. While the ability to do both needs to exist the makers of MMOs need to realize they are dealing with 2 very different games and two very different player bases when it comes to PvE and PvP. Most, if not all, have a strong preference for one over the other. Skills and gear should be different for both and it should be easy to swap between them for those who enjoy both playstyles.

    1. Crown Store- I understand it needs to exist for revenue, but I fear what it's turning into. I don't like that's where all the mounts come from, and you can even buy several motifs and furniture.
    2. Extreme performance issues- major lag, long load times, constantly being kicked
    3. Balance- PvP vs PvE. Too often skills and gear sets are being changed to accommodate PvP and vice versa.

I'll be gone as soon as my sub runs out. There's a lot more but Those are the big ones. I was expecting more Elderscrolls and less WoW. I was expecting better coding and grafix and got a 90s version of Minecraft. I gave it a year and with the population growth, they cant even add a second NA server. It's pretty messed up. But I'll play what I paid for and then pass my account to a friend who can use it to craft stuff with so he can save his points for other stuff.

I agree with you about *stale and needs new content*. I would prefer they fix the old stuff first. NPCs like the dwemmer spiders that spawn in walls so you cant loot the steam pipe, the NEED for another server, ridiculous trait timers. No timer should be more than a week. Forced PvP, I could go on but...

And I get the whole PvP thing but to tie so many acheivements, some of the crafting and a few others to the PvP area ... demonstrable.

For me right now there is only really 1 reason I consider quitting, and that's the on-and-off again issue of unplayability due to lag/latency spikes.

I just can't play when my ping is going like this... 250-> 400->300->999+->750->999+->300->600->999+, etc. It just makes it impossible to play when everything is skipping around, actions don't respond to your keypress, have to hit a key to open a door / use a skill / etc multiple times to do anything, etc

I don't have this issue all the time. Most times my ping ranges from 250 to 330 and the game is very much playable in PvE (lol forget PvP with my lag)... and even with this ping I see other players & mobs moving smoothly around the zones, skills go off with only a single keypress, can craft/deconstruct/open-a-door/etc without a delay after the keypress.

Just now and again the game comes completely unplayable for me, and I'm forced to go play something else in my spare/free time. Makes me sad, and frustrated, and when it happens often I feel like throwing in the towel and walking away from the game.

Edit - and no, before anyone asks I don't have this issue in other online (or offline) games. Just ESO, and the issue is an ESO issue as I've read too many post's from other people who have similar type issue's.

    3) The useless RNG drops nobody will use unless they're trolling. I.E stamina sets on lightning staffs etc etc. Massively lazy way for the devs to make it "harder" to get the items they need. Seriously, I got a weekly trial reward, lightning staff of alkosh IN PROSPEROUS. Pfttt.

I did leave for 6 months due to:
    1. Boring class skills, especially the mandatory spammed ones (Puncturing sweeps I'm looking at you)
    2. Way too easy PVE, especially with a mag templar. Delves need roaming elite (or LT level) mobs to encourage small group play with friends.
    3. Horrible Pvp Balance
    4. PVP lag
    5. the showing of champion points for the world to see promoting elitism. Why not just show level cap?

I came back due to one thing..the warden class. During pc open beta I could never find a class that really "fit" me but I endured over two years any way. I always wanted to see what the cut warden was to look like since the description fit the kind of class I always play in MMOs. I'm back Zenimax..I'll do my best to look past the 5 I listed (and there's more) if you don't screw the warden up...
