If I recall correctly: doesn't the Nevarine meet an actual, living Dwarf "Yagrum Bagarn" in Varvendell? So- is it safe to say that there's a Dwarf still alive almost 800 years before that?

Some of us are already here...
... but honestly, if this is Vvardenfell then it is the one move that ZOS could make that would pull me back into daily play (and support) of this game. I've been looking forward to this since day 1.
I'm hoping a giant cliff racer is a world boss or something.

Good. It would be nice to have a big injection of relatively calm people who know and love the lore. It will do the overall atmosphere some good.Deceptive_Yoshi wrote: »I bet this will attract all those people who are still religiously replaying Morrowind.

Feel free to board the hype train everyone!

They are just some self-centered weirdos with too much power . That's what makes all the story around them so great.

Well, at least I can say that for two out of three of them. I kinda want to meet Sotha Sil alive before I put him in the "self-centered weirdo with too much power" category. Maybe he is just a cute little weirdo that is totally a better god than Vivec and Almalexia.
I mean, I don't really have to argue Almalexia's craziness here, but Vivec was the one who thought it was a good idea to put a freaking huge rock in the sky over a city. And marry Molag Bal. Good for you, Vivec.

Agree about their "craziness"! Lol..
But the "rock" was actually a meteorite that was going to destroy Vivec City and Vivec stopped it.
""Baar Dau was a large moonlet sent to destroy Vivec City by the Daedric Prince, Sheogorath.[2] When Vivec saw Baar Dau falling from the sky, he merely lifted his hand and it froze above the city. Instead of destroying the meteor, Vivec decided to keep it above his city, the reason for this was so that if the people of Vivec ever stopped loving him, the meteor would descend on them and destroy them all.""
Also note, that after they were thrown down by our hero in Morrowind, the magic that held it in place fades and it does crash and causes a cataclysm all over Vvardenfell just prior to the Skyrim time line..

I loved ESO at launch and its first 18 months after. Now it is a game with no direction or quality behind it. I would love to eat my words and come back to this game with a Expansion that has meaty content. im not holding my breath

Well if that isn't a clear teaser of Red Mountain idk what is.
Feel free to board the hype train everyone! We have already datamined the Vvardenfell map and now we have a teaser of Red Mountain.
IT'S ACTUALLY HAPPENING!
Soo excited! Hopefully we'll get new classes, weapons or skill lines added

Don't hype too much guys, your expectations will be too high and it may not be a whole lot close to what you imagine which will lead to a ton of letdowns (*looks at No Mans Sky*)

I'm not comparing the game, I'm comparing the expansion with a game. The game was overhyped and it led to letdowns and lots of people saying it sucked (I quite enjoyed it myself and I think its because I wasn't hyped). Its an actual fact that if you have so many high expectations for something, and it ends up not giving you the things you expected, it will lead to letdowns
