Stamina doesn't need this, the magic equivalent is what helps some magic builds in this current meta IMO.

This magicka vs Stamina is ridiculous.

The irony of appealing for balance then ignoring anything that clearly favours magicka is the reason ZoS has massive pendulum swings and over compensates every balance patch. Things should not be identical, but food/drink buffs are such a fundamental part of ESO it needs magicka and stamina equivalents.

Just because a couple of proc sets are broken on PvP (that are getting nerfed next patch), it dosn't mean we can't get a recipe, dear good. PvP is full of magika builds running destro ulti, and for endgame PvE ranged-magika builds are always going to be better, so tell me more about those magic charts of you.

If you suck at playing magika, a recipe won't make a difference.

Shrug....as far as it not being a recipe....well that's cause ZOS doesn't seem to play or quality test their own game or if they do, they don't care to offer meaningful additions at times like this

It's probably because Stamina already is so powerful,
that ZOS at least wants ressource management to be a challenge.

Why not? Make health and stamina recovery lower than magicka counterpart is, and it will be just fine. Don't forget this would be gold one, so pretty expensive to make.

You have stamina and stamina recovery though, which happens to be a drink and would work VERY well with bone pirate 5th piece set, as if you're using a drink you get an extra 2k Stam and like 200 recovery?

I agree that an equivalent recipe should be added for balancing reasons. However.....

.....you can just wear Heavy Armor and slot Black Rose. Weave in a Heavy Attack every once in awhile or for burst damage.

Now you can use a full damage spec and have perfect sustain if you are just a bit careful. Congrats! No need for the recipe atm anyways.

Vicous Ophidian is so OP for resource management for stam nothing comes close and doesnt really impact DPS. This magika recipe helps resource management by impacting DPS and Health significantly by having a couple k less health and magika.

i am just amazed how often the "more sameness in the name of diversity" argument seems to creep up in its many forms.

For me, just a couple relevant points:
1 - Since the yellow brew produces lower max stats for more sustain stats it is more impactful a trade-off for magica v stamina IMX due to the DPS differentials currently in play and which will likely get reduced in some future patch maybe (but havent been yet though that wont stop the cries for the "equality of recipes now" even with the imbalance going to remain for months.)

2 - i have more sustain issues with my magicas than my staminas and perhaps if there are not "equality" between stam and mag structures as to sustain vs max etc then the cries for equality between sustain vs max recipes is a tad myopic or tunnel-visioned or blindered.1

Unfortunately, this seems to have been changed into a food recipe in the actual festival release. The original data mining showed it as a drink, but I don't think that is the case in the release. Therefore, that set won't work with it.

This wasnt created as it would boost stamina too much .. it offers no real loss to stamina users especially in pvp.

The magicka variant causes magicka users to have a very low stamina pool which is the counter. Stamina can survive and do just fine in pvp without a magicka dump.

I have seen some one complete maelstrom with two bows.

same you can complete trial with every dps witch bow but it wont taku you under 30 mins but more than 1hout because of lack dps
