Double XP again, are you serious?

I just saw double XP will come back tomorrow. I bet, tomorrow, tons of PPL will show at each Dark Anchor. Come on, ZOS, pls make some patch to stop Dark Anchor grinding, don't let double XP ruin the game.

rofl only people who will be farming xp will be low cpers who need the xp, or pro-grinders who care only for grinding.

Dark anchors are one of the very few regular, drop-in, group events in a multiplayer game... you'd rather solo that too?

Too many double exp events ZOS. You want to add more events, at this point there will be a double exp event every other month. Instead why not keep it a special thing only allowed during the anniversary week.

As someone who is helping a lot of newer players to get their characters leveled, I'm very happy to see this. I can't believe someone would complain, but..."people".

I don't think that's his point. I can see where some people are coming from because some dolmens are infested with grinders obviously rubbering banding their controllers. The first one that springs to mind is the first one you stumble upon in Auridon. On PS4 EU, there are umpteen bots or whatever they're called parked on top of a tent already. It's only going to get worse.

dolmen grinding literally hasnt stopped at the anchors where high demand sets like spriggan, spinner, sun etc since the one tamriel patch dropped. even during aussie prime time Aka the dead hour there are still large groups scurrying from dolmen to dolmen

I haven't spoiled anything for myself so far, but from the announcement it sounds like it's more about quests this time. Although I don't think that's what you were referring to.

Isn't obvious by now that zos caters to casuals? I'm sure they like the double XP. Actually, it works for me too I got my last two characters to max in last festival, but I have several alts still leveling skill. Looking forward to the extra XP!

I think I am going to get the achievements on my characters in NA then build up my newly created EU character. I just want to get him to 50 and occasionally log to use up his enlightenment. Then I have something to do durring the times that NA goes down.

If bots bother you report them. I have and I've seen them go poof.

And I like rubbering banding as a name for an alternative rock band

That was mostly the self-healing and AOE challenged, but yeah I do remember.

Too many people are busy grinding their levels instead of taking the time to learn and understand their role, and therefor have no clue of what to do during an event.

XP boosting is a terrible idea.

In what way is the rate of xp gain a matter for casuals? It's the hardcore players who complain all the time about the grind, and yet it seems they also want to complain as soon as something is done to lessen that grind.

Hey, I personally like the Double XP events. It gives me a reason to level up the rest of my toons that I keep saying I'll level up but never get around to actually doing it.

Grinding XP is so boring imo, so having those double xp events really helps me hate grinding a little less.

Uh. Do anchors even grant that much XP? People crowded there during the previous festival for the skulls. Not for the paltry XP. If you want XP but don't want people crowding you, Maelstrom is an excellent private-instance grind spot.
