Double VMA Loot: Which Weapons Did You Get ?

My loot as of last night:



After well over 100 runs, I finally got a "meta" drop. So needless to say, I was....excited lol.

Ugh... look at the destro staff drops..

literally the only reason a magicka build goes in this place and you only got 8 out of 108 runs.... none of them with a good trait.

Fix this garbage you guys and gals...honestly i can't believe people do this 100+ times. i'm closing in on 50 and i want to snap my eso disc in half and walk away. How many hours is enough to "deserve" a sharpened lightning staff??
It's BS.... i've geared up a stam character with sharpened weapons before i have even SEEN a single lightning staff.

This is why I said screw it and switched my main to stam yesterday. If I could I'd give you my sharpened lightning...I just wanted the inferno in sharpened. However with my drops in comparison to the chart, including event drops and previous runs, I would say I get more staff drops vs stam weapons in a 2:1 ratio (though the traits usually suck).

Yeop exactly, I have given up till a better system comes in. I like the enchantment drop or master crafter extracting ideas.

I jumped up and down screaming in excitement. I have used it every day since then. It's still the best drop I've ever gotten from vMA too. That's RNG for ya.

I've been running vMA since release and can safely say I ran it over 400 times, steadily approaching 500. The only Inferno Staffs that ever dropped for me were Decisive and Defending. I have every other weapon in awesome traits multiple times.

A friend of mine, a tank, went in there for fun (long time ago, like a month after it came out). He didn't need any weapons from there, just wanted to complete the content. I talked him through every round and its mechanics. I did already around 50 runs by then. Guess what he got on his first completion. A Sharpened Inferno Staff. Then he went in again for fun and got a Sharpened Maul. On his 3rd completion he got another Sharpened Inferno Staff. He also made this thread.

@ZOS_RichLambert Please give me a Sharpened Inferno!

30+ runs since the event started and the best drop I've gotten is a sharpened lightning staff. The rest has all been broken down. My last run on Sunday gave me double sword & board and I just laughed and shut off the game. Ironically, that run put me on the leaderboard and got a sharpened greatsword because of it. I guess RNGesus felt bad for me.

I think I'll make it an even 10 total runs in the event and end running it at that point. I'm at the point where I seem to average 4-6 deaths and 1:10 on the clock and this doesn't seem to be improving very rapidly. I'm just not sure I care enough about the title to work for it. Lot of spawn memorization, lot of luck with stuns and shroom RNG, lot of just not making any unfortunate mistakes at the wrong time. I'm just not sure I care enough about the prestige. As for the loot as a motivator, I got my staff and kinda wanted to play with a huge dps stam build with the vMA weapons but, needing 3 and even now having zero, coupled with really being a practiced magica build anyway.... I also wanted to mess around with the double tripple proc infal / vMA shock build on a DK. I don't think the messing around with any of this it is worth the horrible grind which, statistically speaking, I wouldn't complete until after the next seasonal gear expiration anyway.

I should thank ZOS for getting me excited enough for the events sake to go back in vMA as I was lucky enough to get my staff before I raged out from bad drops. Hopefully I will get to use it a bit before the next seasonal gear expiration.

I got a sharpened 1h mace and a sharpened lightning staff on my last run. Only did 2-3 runs since the whole event started.

Those are my best drops so far

7th run. Not only was this the first time I finished stage 9 with no deaths, I finished in much less time than my last run and increased my score by over 100k. Crap drops, but at least they weren't staves this time:

- Charged Bow
- Nirnhoned Greatsword

Maybe I'll get Nirncrux from that sword.

Edit: RNGesus blessed me with the Nirncrux, at least.

I'm sorry I did not keep a detailed list but my anecdotal evidence is a ton of nirnhoned items and a lot of double drops.

Have only DPSs. will prob start a tank after the event.Not a vMA grinder, cleared for the first time during the event.
So far:
2 Maces - Infused/Decisive
1 Sword - Decsive
3Shields - Divine/Impen
1 Battle axe - powered

at least 1 good thing for my build - 1 sharpened bow (coincidentally when i replaced my gear from the usual 2dagger and bow to 2 staffs, just for opening the chest)

Hate this last boss ,not the daedric fella,, the chest itself. RNG is the worst boss ever

Only thing I have gotten so far that is close to "good" is a powered resto staff, just about everything else has been charged or defending.

Dual sharpened Daggers muthabitchas. Said this before....but vma is done...no space for new toons I am done.
