Bugs and Ninja Nerfing: lightning staff, Fighter's guild, speed, and pets... What else?

    If you have bug reports or even want to give feedback, please make sure you're posting new threads instead of replying in existing threads with different topics. It's a lot harder for us to track when multiple topics are in a single thread. Thanks!


    Edit: The issue with Necrotic Orb is also a bug.

    Ah, thanks for the insight. I tested the lightning staff a few months back when I had a sharpened vma one drop, and I remember seeing that the aoe ticks were always uniform, but didn't realize that the final tick matched the ST damage (and hence crit).

    I don't actually use lightning myself though, I just liked the idea that inferno wasn't the only viable PvE weapon.

    Since we are referring to #221, on #261 you claimed that there is no "full picture" because the damage cap on pets was excluded, however, I quoted the first mention of the damage cap ever on the forums by Wrobel on #251 aside from the moral/purpose of this discussion. You had over 6 hours to read #251 before your post was made, I am not convinced that you did in addition to the OP.

    You know why ? They completely overhauled lightning staff heavy attacks.

    So far, every single tick profits from things like sergeants mail, undaunted weaver, molten weapons and all these things.
    But now, only the last tick profits from them. So your damage will be pitiful. Sorry

    @Dracane What are you talking about? I just tested it on PTS and sergeant's mail still buff every tick.

    My problem with what you are claiming is that I am not able to reproduce different output during a channel nor consecutive channels regardless of the primary target's location on other nearby NPCs on both Live and PTS.

    I have not seen a assessment of the skill itself from your end either.

    Your original post said you are "pretty sure" but I want you to be certain.

    I need evidence of the mechanic, how it is produced. At least two or more consecutive heavy attack recordings of the lightning staff heavy attack channel on both PTS and current Live in instances where; the same NPCs are tested in a mob, and different NPCs are tested in a mob.

    The test is not valid when only one channel of a heavy attack is used. the NPCs could not move toward/away from the primary target nor player (CC), no damage output is enabled (base game and addons are fine).

    I do not have any space on my PC for video capture. I had to delete everything just to fit the PTS. It's pretty easy to test with 30 seconds of using with a lightning staff. The post you referenced (https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/3357961#Comment_3357961) has been debunked by another tester. Just remove it from the OP.
