Patch notes are up. How long before we are playing the game

It would be appreciated if you could at least give us some ideas about what is causing these long down times, Mondays are one of the few days when I have plenty of spare time, its really getting frustrating

The problem is that before they decided to do both servers at the same time instead of US one day and EU the other, then it has been a "technical issue" every single time.

Before that when they focused on one server at a time we didn't have these endless takedowns during EU playtime.

Like I said : Zenimax have no respect for EU customers

Did it just pop into your head to make a forum post, after ~7 hours of applying a minuscule ~96mb patch? Nice work continually and blatantly showing pure incompetence to the people who sub and support the game. I can rest well knowing Z0$ are basically flushing the pocket change re-investment money straight down the toilet.

And you were? Yea, didn't think so. On the balance of probability it's much more likely that one of the many people unhappy with the regularity of extended maintenance windows has more experience with server clusters than you. So do shut up, there's a good boy.

I think its wrong that we pay for eso plus in the maintenance time. I mean in 2 month the servers are easy for 2-4 full days down xD

sam here, monday, tuesday off work, monday, cant play maint and extended cause of issues, tuesday there will be connection/login issues and another maint..

I love the game, I think the sub is worth the money, but not for me atm when I more or less cant play anything at all, the two days I can play cause of lifte, I really hope they improve things again:/

Yes people - keep complaining and keep asking over and over. That is sure to bring the servers back up much faster.

assuming the servers been down "all day" for you.. where would you like them to mail the 50 cents you're out?

I have been subbed for just over a month now. I went with a 3 month plan. This is now the 3rd Monday where a maintenance has taken all day to do. This and the 5 hour crashes during the week has made me think I should have gone with the 1 month plan. I have never played an MMO with such constant service interruptions. It Is the same vague response every time, they "encountered" a server issue, and takes all day to fix.

I will try and enjoy my remaining 2 months if I can even play, and end it there unless they can get this server issue under control.

It has been nearly every single time they have had a "technical issue" when combining the EU and NA maintenance. How can they be having an issue evey single time? It is incompetence to consistently exceed your scheduled maintenance time.

I don't know how to fix my car, but if I go to have it fixed and they say it will be an hour and 4 hours later I don't have my car, I will complain. No, I don't know how hard the job is, but you quoted me a time and you're not sticking to it.

I don't know how to fix my AC either. If I have a guy come fix my air conditioning and he says it will take 30 minutes and he is still working on it two hours later, I again have a right to complain.

If it was once in a while it wouldn't be so bad. This has been happening every single scheduled maintenance. I'd give the car repairman a break as well as the air conditioning guy if it was a rare thing that they didn't hold up to their time estimate. If it was a repeated thing, I'd find new repairmen. Unfortunately, I can't find a new server team for the game that I want to play.

Sorry, there is no prerequisite, based on hands on experience, that dictates if a person has a right to complain over shoddy service. Rather what you can do is base it on being sensible, comparisons, and other (apparently) astounding things that dictate whats normal and acceptable in life.

The comparison, in this aspect would be I have played a lot of MMOs that didn't have this kind of crippling maintenance schedules, coupled with the brutal irony that things don't even get fixed and you have the same old bugs floating around after two years.

I kind of want to know if it's a different thing causing the "unexpected" maintenance every week or if it's the same thing that keeps cropping up. I don't envy the server team.

Literally everything you said could apply to yourself - the time it took you to type that response could have been better spent. I'm under no illusion, the time I spent typing this response could have been better spent, but I can't help but point out stupidity and hypocrisy when I see it.
