I work as an oral surgeon assistant and have 3 weeks vacation atm, had an insane allergic reaction to something, and can only play games and chill atm, so getting annoyed that it takes over 7 hours during the day time to implement a tiny patch like this is not unreasonable.

Did it just pop into your head to make a forum post, after ~7 hours of applying a minuscule ~96mb patch? Nice work continually and blatantly showing pure incompetence to the people who sub and support the game. I can rest well knowing Z0$ are basically flushing the pocket change re-investment money straight down the toilet.

assuming the servers been down "all day" for you.. where would you like them to mail the 50 cents you're out?

If your implying Z0$ has any empathy between paying for a service and not receiving said service, your quite funny. I fully understand the need for maintenance, especially if this company rushes out incomplete DLC's, but today for a simple example is a small update, fixing small and simple bugs they have listed (Doesn't list the ninja nerfs they trying to slip in).

~7 hours to let players know something is wrong?. That is laughable, post should have been made as soon as they knew.


In real life business people don't and shouldn't accept incompetence, especially if paying for a 'service'. I have never understood why others seem to welcome it when it comes to the digital environment.

I can understand how some people are upset about the extended maintenance times with no estimated time of completion. I know there are some who aren't even bothered with it.
I would be one of the "I could care less" minded folks if, and ONLY if, the maintenance wasn't on bid mornings. For me in my time zone, the server goes down at 1am. Bids end and traders flip at 5am. However, the "maintenance" as of late has been ending anywhere from 7am to almost noon (once again, in my time zone, PST.) I am a zombie from the lack of sleep.
I feel that I am not alone when I say Mondays are not the best time to do a maintenance because it interferes with guild trader bids.

I'm not a developer and have limited knowledge of these things, but wouldn't it make sense to have 2 servers each for both NA & EU to avoid any maintenance downtime whatsoever? For example, EU server A is up while EU server B is under maintenance, then server B goes up while A is under maintenance, and so on... Sort of a leap-frog thing. I'm sure there are reason why this isn't the case, but... thoughts?

Here in France, the maintenance started at 10AM.... It's now at least 8PM ... So all day without ESO for lot of people who not working on monday... this situation all weeks is unacceptable.
