I'm looking forward to doing all the main quest to get soulstrike at an early level! I've never actually gotten to play with it - only against. I haven't been overly impressed when playing against it because I tend to play builds that can either face tank it and DPS the enemy while they're vulnerable or just block for a second.

If there's one class that I'd grind soul strike is indeed magplar. However, I'd rather do mage guild 10 twice than those stupid main quest. Recently, I just did "liberate Hollow City" quest (or something like that). I rushed trough it as fast as I could and still took me 1 hour, but felt like 4 hours. I kinda had to tho, with my bounty of 13 million, there is no way I could have talked to a bag merchant in Tamriel within the next 2-3 years lol

I was there last summer u didn't solo farm anything it was u + ur guild(ur guild is also known to use proc sets and gold gear) Also I know personally u farmed for a monster helm last summer when u were AD emp with a sorc at lvl 47 u said so urself in grp chat talking to Lhama leader of Pugz of AD. Forgive me but this is the kind of cheese i'd like my faction to refrain from. EP has no voip grps sometimes very rarely zz will run a ts grp. EP desperately needs more organization I agree with u there. Some EP have tried recruiting in zones and got some nasty responses seems most don't care about the non vet campaign or about joining the least populated faction they would rather join the winning side or just go to the vet campaigns.

@Khrogo1 , so you're saying I have a non-vet monster shoulder you mean? Because I found out about the way to get helmets after it was patched and given that I can't get the traits I want on my vet gear there's no way I'm wasting a key on a piece for nonvet. Let alone the hope that I get the piece I want for a nonvet. Your story gets a little less likely because for whatever reason I very rarely group with @Lahma and when I do it's generally with her, Mort (I forget your name on here!), and for whatever reason tensixtysix (who is literally my favorite player to watch - you sneak a lot but your snipes hit hard as crap).

I did run 2x Grothdarr, 5x vicious death, 4x spinners on that emperor once I hit vet. I don't see anything questionable or wrong about that. But the notion that I'm farming overworld gear (with the exception of the most recent magwarden emp I had where I did farm necro at levels 22, 30, 34, 40, and 46) is pretty laughable.

I'm actually totally open about the builds I've ran in nonvet and freely tell anyone what skills I used on both emp and non-emp characters for every class. If you want to know what I ran on any given character I can 100% tell you.

As for my guild using gold gear there are a few of us that do. I've really only made staves gold or weapons that I was emp with. I've got the disposable income in game to gold stuff for vet loadouts and every once in a while for a special occaision (like emping) I'll make a gold weapon - staves are the cheapest option by a fair margin. Our guild has a lot of folks that get gold rewards each campaign so we definitely share those around to people that want them - for example on of our studly healers in guild has all gold transmutation jewelry because we kept giving him it. I've got a couple gold pieces of fury armor because he sent me those.

I know it's hard to believe and I'll never likely succeed in making you see this but maybe we do well because we know how to play with each other, make sure we have healers/multiple off-healers in group, and time our ults in a halfway intelligent fashion using voice comms 100% of the time that we can wipe folks with attitudes like yours off the map for days.

Proc sets in non-vet are pretty bad. If somebody wants to waste a valuable 5-piece bonus to get 2k Viper procs, more power to them.

Adenoma the one thing I will agree with u on is voice comms! EP needs grps that use discord or ts I said it b4 here EP suffers mostly becuz we don't have any organized discord/ts grps low pop hurts but not as bad as being dysfunctional. Ep players have tried to run discord grps with little luck seems most are afraid to talk or just don't want to download it idk.
I was planning to move back to vivec once i got my new toons up to vet but seems like the EP in kyne needs more help then vivec so i may start up my own grps in kyne depending on if my friends want to stay here if so ill try running a discord pug grp.
I don't really like pug grps or large grps of any kind but ill give it a try mostly I just solo or grp with my friends. I wish we had a cpl leaders like Lahma or Valen Ep side those 2 are the best pvp teachers I have seen since the beginning, They have more patience, understanding and temperament to deal with some these newbies.

Sure, 1v1 vipers isn't stupidly OP solo, but in group it's good. Not much you can do for mitagation, and my comment earlier was about vipers hitting me twice, both hits in deathcap were for 3K+, asked the guy for a 1v1. Silence... figures...

Oh, and whoever it was in DC leader land this morning that grabbed scrolls but didn't cap our base keeps, I solute you sir. I'm AD through and through, and it almost hurts to say this, but those some of the DC guys are pretty cool, had some great whispers too.

EP this round however, they can suk a large bag of diks.

EP was still winning on the scoreboard last time I checked. Mad respect for the DC hit squad that logs in around 4am est their group rewrites the map like cartography.

I just said in zone to ep don't worry about dc they don't have high pop anymore and don't night cap then dc hits bleaks, chal and roe

@kijima , there are much stronger alternatives in nonvet even for group play. Viper is awful in nonvet and will only get significantly worse with the next patch.

Sometimes you have to discount what players say on the forums, some are here just to chest pump. You will hear them say things like "my 4 man group loves zerges" but those same people get beat down by a zerg and then say, "I quit! I'm tired of getting zerged down." and then leave a cross faction pvp guild that lol'd them and then move to a vet campaign. I knew it was just a matter of time before @Adenoma came back to Kyne. Vet zerges eat up small groups like his.

You don't have to grind overland gear, you can buy them from guilds. Many people don't really have to buy/grind overland gear to make them look good. All they need to do is go down in IC and get Blackrose and Agility jewlery, or some other good set. Or just find one of the overland merchants and buy those boxes with your AP.

I haven't played much in Kyne recently because last summer I learned it is just a waste of time fighting 3 bars vs 1 bar all the time. I prefer not to play ADs "come take the emp keeps so we can zerg you down and crown another fake emp" game. Just for an example, last weekend I could have played in Kyne when it was 3 bars vs 1 bar most the time and I would have lost a lot of sieges too. Instead I went to Vivec and earned 500k AP and had fun doing it.

Tip of the Day
If you are not having fun in Kyne for whatever reason it is, try different campaigns on both NA and EU server. You have so many opportunities to have fun in this game.

Recently I have been playing a little on the EU server, I created an AD character because of a guild but for some reason I really hated playing on AD. Well I’m on EU DC now and loving it

The best place I have played so far is EU Vivec on DC. Those guys don’t mess around, they all play together as one big group. You don’t hear any zone drama, and if someone calls an AU in zone chat people actually show up to help.

I have no CP and am only level 12. You can have fun anywhere in this game, you just got to find your fun.

@Swaye I keep on forgetting to email you in game. I want to thank you for helping me out, Thank you! There was a few times I would log in and prepare to grind zombies, and then I check my mail and get all happy. I was in zone chat telling everyone “If you ever want to make a noob happy, send them some gold. My friend sent me some gold and I am sooo happy right now”, I was able to buy mats and actually put blue light armor on my healer.

If you ever need anything, please let me know. I owe you something.

@vamp_emily , I don't actually have a character that's geared to play in nonvet right now. I've been studying for boards and otherwise when I do log on I have just done undaunted pledges on my magwarden to get him ready for vet PvP with maxed undaunted.

Although I haven't gotten to play a lot with the guild, we've been doing the same chicanery and shenanigans that we did in nonvet on a vet level. I know in the one or two times I got to play in Sotha with them we took scrolls both times from DC and farmed them for 80k AP/hour so that ain't awful. I'm just looking forward to the end of the month/end of undaunted grind so when I do have that hour or so to spare I get to do it in PvP.

Edit: but it's nice to hear you blow a lot of hot air around. If you get a balloon that'll take you some place some day.

yeah ... i was so pissed about that ... only ONE dc followed me ... even with 2.5k health regen and about 28k resists ( i was about 7 levels out of gear at the time ) getting bombarded by 3 people spamming cliff divers hurt

Ahhhhhh! Bloody Windows 10!!!!!! Had about an hour to play before people started getting up in my house. I logged in and then windows 10 decided to restart for an update.... this wouldn't be so bad, but since three anniversary edition update to windows, it blocks internet access to eso! I've tried everything I know (ad it to firewall exceptions, windows defender exceptions, open ports), nothing works, so I roll back the update... which takes more time....
