What happens when a self-proclaimed two-year ESO player says that ESO is:
    1) A game 100% about unskilled CP501 player farming resources.
    2) A game all about spamming one skill endlessly.

What happens when this type of person comments on the forums with an overwhelming support for Neverwinter, and how they are leaving ESO asap?

Well I tend to check up a little more about the really toxic individual. Turns out you have 1 star on the forums, and are trashing ESO on other threads now as well. If you're going to quit, why did you create a forum account after two years so you could talk trash about ESO just to quit it? Doesn't make sense.

I was just about to say something similar.

It's an outlet. Initially I wanted to know if others felt the same. I came on here and yep I was right.

Coming to (any) MMO forum to check whether people are complaining about it is like checking whether the pope is catholic.

And if PvP didn't exist in ESO then it would lose a large amount of ita player base, plain and simple.

*Asks myself why this bothers me so much*

    Well, it's simple.

A certain person made an ESO forum account for the sole purpose of trashing ESO as much as possible. That person is you. It's really sad tbh.

From your few past posts, you literally have no idea what you are talking about or how ESO is balanced. Everyone has disagreed with you and called you out as a cancer to the community with no knowledge of game mechanics or balance, yet here you are still talking about how you will quit after "2 years" and ESO is trash. If you played for more than a half year, you'd have enough knowledge to shut down anything you have said in the past.

I rarely ever dislike someone on the forums this way. Gotta say that you 100% need to leave already and go to Neverwinter already. Again, I hope you enjoy it. Nothing will come of your posts on these forums besides pure toxicity and hatred for the game.

    *sigh

You know... once, I helped the forum moderators shut down an account which was copy/pasting a ton of polls under different names. Posted on each of the (five or six?) polls what was happening so people wouldn't comment to continue the discussions. Linked each of the duplicate threads to the orginal. I helped the forums get rid of a troll really fast that day, and you seem nearly as toxic as that person right now.

Everyone is jumping on OPs back but I don't he said his opinion in a disrespectful way.. With that said, I don't worry too much about the way you unlock skills. Of course, if I could unlock vigor and meteor outside of PvP, I wouldn't complain. But at the same time, it really doesn't matter much to me. I'm glad they gave out a vendor for monster sets, because I don't really have a group to play with on dungeons, and it seems most people that are in group finder take this game too seriously and only want someone crazy skilled to do it with...

The real issues for me is the lag, the crashes, and the constant loading screens. Oh and also enemies who haven't appeared yet but can attack me. I was getting so frustrated with dark brotherhood because I was in a restricted area and kept collecting bounty because the enemies were not showing up, and I was apparently walking right in to them.. That is BS. And it makes me HATE the bounty system. With those types of problems, I can't enjoy thieves guild and dark brotherhood because I'm going broke trying to play it!

Funny, just when they believe it has been fully debated 2 or 3 topics about pvp show up.
I wouldnt fingerpoint pvp as being the issue though.
The real issue is that Alliance vs Alliance pvp war in cyrodiil is not for everyone(as it is only one type of pvp, wvw)
Since its the only pvp eso offers its "take it or leave it",so I can understand why that type of players would be unsatisfied with what the game has to offer..(although I'm not one of them)

The real issue is that pvp and pve has been treated like 2 separate games.
Its like when there is just one public toilet for men & multiple for women at the same place.Ofcourse someone is going to be displeased.
I have confidence though that they now know what One Tamriel could bring in order to satisfy more people.

If only ZOS could take their own advice and update every skill this way

And ofcourse, streamlining would have to happen in different areas of the game.
Like updating all skills in this manner.

Well TBH PvP for me is what I loved since my first MMO game, yeah sometimes its broken as hell but still its PvP. Maybe someday we will have AI that will not be so predictible and will be able to surprise us but, till that day nothing will convince me, that PvP (ESO, WoW, DAOC even Quake or Unreal) is bad. Its the reason I play MMOs as AI is repeatable and all you need to do is to learn its moves while in PvP... nothing can be compared to falling from clif, surviving, killng enemy, pushing another one for slaughterfishes dinner and then getting trebuchets missle and focused aim to the face. Yeah you died but it was hell of a fun :D
I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

Threatening? Don't pull the "I'm innocent don't hurt me" card out. You were never once threatened. You give off the same vibes as troll accounts. No one will shut down your account except yourself should you choose to create a goodbye thread and ask for it to be shut down.

You being toxic is not an attack. An attack would be if I called you mean names :| and trolled you in-game. Threatening you would be if I told you I was going to do something to your account (which I can't and never would) or say I would hurt/mess with you in some way (which again, would never happen). Night and day difference from what you make it out to be.

If you want to talk about being grown ups, perhaps creating a Forum account for the sole purpose of being toxic and calling ESO trash is not the way to go about quitting an MMO, correct?

As for you not being toxic
.....read through your past comments. There are maybe a handful which aren't pure toxicity. That's almost an achievement.

I helped the forums get rid of a troll really fast that day, and you seem nearly as toxic as that person right now.

Why are you attacking me? And now threatening me. I'm not toxic. I'm reaching out to others on here. Soo now I gotta worry about having my account shut down? If you don't like my opinion and cannot be a grown up about responding without name calling, terrible player/toxic/cancer, maybe you should report yourself.

Please stop messaging me. I don't like the disrespectful nature of your comments thank you. I'm glad you like the game. I wish we could have had an actual conversation. Oh well.

There you have it. No response. Called out for what you've done and you cannot back yourself up. Fair enough.

I really do hope you enjoy Neverwinter. Truly. And if you do return to ESO, which you've made quite clear is an absolutely horrible game in your opinion, it'd be great if you could personally message me to apologize.

Good day to you @Drdeath20

It's an outlet. Initially I wanted to know if others felt the same. I came on here and yep I was right.

Coming to (any) MMO forum to check whether people are complaining about it is like checking whether the pope is catholic.

    Yeah but why soo much.

Because people who are unhappy tend to come to the forums to complain, while people who are happy tend to just play the game, and ignore the forums.

    I'm here everyday...
    And i like the game.

On topic as many of us told you OP mobs can't complain about umbalanced skills the issue here is that pvp players are complaining and since pve'rs generally hate pve'rs and anything related to the pvp community, balance generated from a pvp prespective is not good but that's not true, not always.

Same crap, different game, different people, but the sentiment is the same, pve players get annoyed because they have to adjust their builds when head to head skills get unbalanced and pvp players have zero respect for the pve guys.

Here's the actual truth: All of these games need to operate in an environment where the rules are different for all skills, or the gear you get from pve is 100% useless in pvp and visa versa.

Until then, pvp players will always see pve players as whiny pansies and pve players will always see pvp players as elitist jerks.

I know but apparently this is the issue not the "balance" or anything else, I'm an eso player and if eso offers me pve and pvp i play Both without considering myself a pve or pvp player.

This is true, and honestly I wish ZOS would implement something like this. It would make myself, as well as many other players incredibly happy with a system like this. Plus, it would reduce a lot of the conflict and tension between the primarily PVE and PVP player bases.

While that's rather interesting, I'm curious... Do you find VMA, VMoL, and VSO a cakewalk? Or what about obtaining some of the less-popular titles such as: "Master Angler" for example. Is that a cakewalk in your opinion?

If they would have just kept the block builds etc who knows where the game would be with the new sets and vet removal. The block builds made the tanks valuable in PvP.

You gave me a good giggle, self-entitled carebear. I find it worrying that every time I see you in a thread it's about you complaining about PvP. Like really, you seem to have a deep hatred for it and that's honestly pathetic. Not even going to go on about it because you can't help those who are truly irrational.

That said, go take a deep breath and relax by killing the same mob over and over again. Maybe you'll beat your personal record to see how fast you can kill it.

the only thing that is pathetic here is your destructive comment and seminfunctional communications skills.

But if ESO had no PVE, it technically wouldn't be an Elder Scrolls game. I mean sure, I suppose it could. But honestly, the Elder Scrolls franchise is based on PVE. It's the backbone of the franchise. And when you throw in the: Expansive lore, the vast and beautiful locations, as well as unique creatures that exist in it... You have a beautiful formula for success (to a degree).

I mean here, let's look at this way. I made a poll not too long ago about if people would buy another ZOS game. The majority of people said, "No." while a common factor was brought up that the only reason they purchased the game was because of the Elder Scrolls title. Now when you think about that, you have to wonder what it is about the Elder Scrolls franchise that causes people to pick-up the game off of the name alone. Was it PVP? No, because PVP has never really existed in an Elder Scrolls title before. So it had to PVE, as well as the formula pieces I mentioned earlier.

Proof of the poll by the way (and the margin was huge):

The original post is written like pve can't be rebalanced after a good pvp balance is found lol. Preferably, they would be simultaneous. The whole idea of pvp ruining a game is predicated on nonsense.

Edit: I realize lots of pvp changes have hurt pve, but that's the developers being bad, not pvp ruining anything.

The first reason is because of class and skill nerfs. Time and time again threads arise about how this class is overpowered, and that skill is overpowered. Time and time again. And when we look at where these complaints are coming from, it's from a PVP perspective. You never really hear Nightblade and Templar complaints coming from a PVE perspective. "Gosh, I really hate how my Radiant Destruction is killing these bosses and adds off." You never hear that. But will you hear complaints about RD in PVP? All the time. It's everywhere. Now granted, I'm not saying it's a "balanced" skill. But, the main point is — PVP'ers get things nerfed. Which hurt things for both PVE and PVP. Not good. I mean, even something as basic as blocking as nerfed due to PVP complaints. Sure, that 1 dev said it was actually because they didn't want tanks just holding block while doing content. But, let's be honest. When have you EVER heard a tank complain about regenerating stamina while blocking? Lol. I never have. But, have I ever heard complaints about people regaining stamina while blocking in PVP? Tons of times. The complaints of "Block Knights" were the topic of PVP discussions for months, until ZOS did something about it.

Guy A shoots guy B dead. Guy C sees this, and calls the police. Guy A ends up in jail.
Guy A: "I ended up in jail because of guy C" - no sherlock, you ended up there because you shot guy B.

PvP'ers are not what gets things nerfed. Things being overpowered is what gets things nerfed. The PvPers are simply reporting the issues.

    @Sharee
You're a very intelligent person, and I love reading your logic in posts. However, I have a question for you. If you pause for a moment, and think — "What if PVP didn't exist in ESO?" Do you think that the game would be in the state that it's currently in? As in class-wise and skill-wise. Here, I'll elaborate a bit. Do you think the DK's flappers, the NB's cloak, the Sorcerer's streak and wards, etc. would all be in the current condition that they are in? Had this game not have PVP? I honestly don't think that shields would be 6 and 10 seconds, if PVP didn't exist. As no one would complain about shield stacking Sorcs.

It's called an MMO, the entire game was advertised with the PvP element not PvE. Have you seen the game trailer? It's the 3 factions fighting in cyro, not a bunch of people in a dungeon. Now compare that to WoW trailers, they showcase raid bosses. How can you ask me to imagine eso without PvP that way. Like when I saw the trailer I was like *** yeah, 3 faction's going toe to toe with each other in a massive all out war for cyro with I hoped (daedra dropping down and *** *** up and taking keeps and stuff)
