Agreed. This is specifically why deers got removed from Cyrodiil in the first place. VE didn't need any deer's assistance to make their faction the true champions.

This one thought it was because the deer were the only thing Telel could solo and ZOS wanted to force an innocent one to risk their sanity leading groups to occasional victory?

Thank you again Steve and Zheg and each and every VE, Arcane Counsel, Dominion Knights, RAM, Telel and COH and my apologies if I missed anyone. Of course to my brothers and sister in Fantasia we have many more campaigns to win. So many laughs and so much AP. For those in VE that still want to play and are not going quietly into the night you will always be welcome with Fantasia not to speak for Josh but I know he had as good a time as we we all did when you were leveling up your AD toons. To my fellow AD stay off the bridge there are no bridge ticks. Lastly, don't go into towers to be farmed. Stay off the flag a siege it down, pretty ppppllllleeeeaaaaazzzzz.

This one has found that it gets boring when one thinks of it as 'which place do I retake now so the rest of my $#%$# faction can lose it in 15 minutes'.

However when Telel thinks of Cyrodiil as a big jigsaw puzzle with pieces that are constantly changing shape then it gets more fun. Especially since people are also trying to set a khajiit on fire as they assemble that puzzle.

It also helps to not think in terms of 'what keeps can I take and how many can I kill' but in terms of 'what objectives can I take to insure we maximize our points during the next score check'.

That AD vid with Hellspawn and Luvboard always make me feel nostalgic about this game.. good old times. And that troll thread is always great to read. haha gj @Mako1132 !

Regarding people who play to win the campaign, there is a very valid reason for that. I understand that most people expect action during primetime NA eastcoast usually. What happen outside of this timeline is called "off hours" and usually is interpreted anti-competitive and not valid to determine who won a campaign.

Still, at the end of the day, some people play video games for the strategic aspect. Not to slaughter people over and over without any goal or mission in the background. I've explained this times and times again before. The best comparaison is Call of Duty and Battlefield. Some people prefer real fast action and will play CoD. Some other people like myself like to have an objective behind all the killing and will play Battlefield. Each his own. I like to analyze where enemy troups are and try to juke them by hitting where they don't expect me to be and to get as many points as we can on the scoreboard. I don't care if we really deserved to win a campaign or not. At least I worked for it.

@frozywozy my limited interaction with you has been mostly limited to inescapable death, but I appreciated the above comment - totally how I feel

Not everyone plays for the map or the campaign and I don't criticize anyone who doesn't - hell quite often I'm playing to find the best fights and most AP.

@Telel aside from being a sarcastic and funny-ass cat that we sadistically enjoy taking abuse from :D , it's thanks to your leadership that so many of us are fiercely loyal to COH.

Telel has taught COH some important werewolf values that I think help increase our small contribution to the faction, and are good things to live by for those players who like to play for the campaign.

COH always makes it a point to communicate and work with the rest of AD. We don't hesitate to play the support role for other groups by watching their back line when they are sieging, or if another leader requests a group to go focus on a specific objective, etc. This is not an e-*** measuring contest.

In fact, we sometimes throw ourselves at distant or hopeless objectives for the good of the map. Suicide missions are necessary when other groups need a distraction.

We are not elitist - we invite pugs to join us when we can. We recruit and run with many players that are low CP. telel and others in the guild invest considerable amounts in getting these people geared up. We are generally patient in training new people, but we demand that they improve as players and teammates.

Most of all, disrespect to enemy players by anyone in the guild is not tolerated.

If the balance of Cyrodil is good and all is well in the universe, then we turn to finding the best fights or indulging in the occasional AP farm - all the while having fun and rampaging as werewolves from time to time.

We try to foster this pack mentality in our members and those we come across.

Many of these values were widely prevalent throughout all of AD, which I think is why we won this campaign. It's an honor to play with so many cool and cooperative people!

Also @heystreethawk it's a privilege to have joined Fantasia this cycle - the mind-meld of this guild is strong and I have never felt more confident zerg diving - I'll note with pretty *** badass players that are also down to cooperate with anyone and everyone in AD, and respectful to opponents.

It's not like we all call each other and decide to log on at the same time. In fact I don't know that AD has more players on at a given time, it may just seem that way because AD has the fewest guilds and pugs tend follow any group they see. I logged off at 10 Eastern last night so I don't know the current score. I believe AD was in last place. If that is still the case then the number of players doesn't matter anyway.

Logged in for the first time in a week and saw that red was still heavily stacking raids at a single fight. Didnt fight blue much, but i went to brindle to try and save and there was an organized raid at front door while another raid plus pugs were trying to flip flags. Yellow absolutely has numbers at some fights, but you're blind or oblivious to make that post and ignore that red and blue do the same, if at times far more frequently and far worse.

You can thank the players that pushed for changes that gave incentive and strengthened the giant zergs, and you can thank wheeler and wrobel for implementing them.

Reminds me of a simple joke that cracked me up in AD zone chat last night: "I've told you a million times, I never exaggerate."

I haven't been able to run all that frequently this campaign; it's possible that 80 players logged off from Trueflame right before I got there, each time that I've had a group. But I usually log on to each faction having two emp keeps and an outpost, and it's the same when I leave. I think it was Saturday when blue had Roe and red had Alessia at the start of our run. If AD has secret 100 man super zergs, they're not doing much with them.

During two of our last three raids, there was one other sizable AD guild running at the same time as us (Dominion Knights one evening, Arcane Council last night), and on the third occasion we were the only AD guild in sight. We stacked with AC twice last night to recap territory from the EP Double Raid Deluxe Burger, and the rest of the time we split off to get coverage on the borders of enemy lands.

Pugs and smaller groups will follow the bigger groups around, of course, and they do an awesome job shoring up defense at our keeps. But I've never seen more than 20 pugs in one place, so we'd need about 4 stacked raids to hit that magic triple digit number.

This is, of course, all referring to late American prime time -- like 9-10pm EST through 1-2am EST. I'm not under the illusion that it's the only time frame that matters, but if you're going to generalize a period of time on the Trueflame campaign to the campaign as a whole, I think that's a sensible option. I can't imagine you're talking about primetime here, and I don't know how the faction runs during the day, but judging by the campaign scoreboard as of last night, it seems very unlikely that we run as deep during the day as you're saying. Primetime, this cycle, we seem to run slightly more deep than DC most of the time, and usually have about 20 fewer people than EP do at any given location. If we outnumbered the other factions 4-1, we'd have the entire map. We don't. We're in third place.

Also been barely able to play this patch - I think AD still has a hangover from winning last campaign as well as the holiday weekend... It would be boring if we won every month anyhow, I don't mind blue and red being in the lead... Not to say we won't turn this around.

This new campaign so far has been pretty balanced with two factions rarely ganging up on the other. Which was more common place last campaign. On the EP side last night we were facing constant attacks at chal from the mindless DC pug groups with the occasional blood of Daggerfall raid backing them up. Or leap frogging to Arrius front door. At the same time EP was trying to deal a fantasia group that seemed to be around 16-20ish that was constantly farming or attacking objectives behind our front line with the Dominion Knights and the AD pug groups between Alessia and Sej.

While it kind of sounds like EP is getting focused, according to the map there was constant heavy action between Roe and Ash all night. Seems like we might have another balanced trueflame on our hands this month :)
