Eidetic Memory Bugs/Comments/Help

"Note to Vanus" might be an additional book as a prequel quest for the upcoming chapter, Summerset Isle. Quite possibly it showed up too early in Eidetic, but if someone found it, please let us know.

I can’t find A Smugglers plan. It supposed to be in the Aquifer but I finished the quest and can’t access it anymore

@elven.were_wolf check inside the town I found it in the middle on a bench in open air
also does any1 knows if there is an addon or a map that shows ALL bookshelves locations in every zone? including cyrodill and imperial city? especially in cyrodill and imperial city?

Hi everyone,
For me the last bugged books are:

- "No reason to worry" locked behind Hazak's hollow door (Khenarthi's roost).
- "Pierced note" locked behind captain Brivan's apartment door (Vvardenfell).
- "Nahirah's journal" impossible to find if youv'e already done the quest "The search for Shiri" (Alik'r desert).

@Toraf for "Pierced note" read what i wrote on page 36. Grab a player that u see getting in and out of the house or ask a friend to do the quest with an alt and group him when he does that. Should work. on PC-EU it does

The Apprentices' God, under The Devoted and Deranged, unable to access area of Torinaan, Auridon
Mauloch, Orc-Father, under Lore and Culture, unable to access area of Abamath, Malabal Tor
To Warlord Ice-Heart, under Wrothgar Writings, cannot find.
Assassin's Orders, under Vvardenfell Vvolumes, cannot find.
Pierced Note, under Mysteries and Clues, unable to access area in Balmora, Vvardenfell.

Also not finding, The Distributed Soul and The Year 2920, Vol. 27 after lots of on and off IC shelf checks.

Thanks to all working to complete their collections here, its helped me quite a bit!

On your Master tab you have Giant Warning. You can find it in Lion's Den 65.09 x 34.34, verified today:


On your Seeking! tab you have Nahirah's Journal. This book is definitely bugged, because some people can see it post-quest, some - including myself - cannot. To anyone who is non-DC characters and have "Information Request from Emeric" and "Updated Instructions from Dortene" from "Military Orders and Reports" collection - if you use LoreBooks addon could you please post here locations provided in popup when you rightclick on that book in your Eidetic Memory collection? I'd personally go there to check because many people - including myself - have troubles finding these two.

I was able to get "A Plea for the Elder Scrolls" at the Temple of Chim (EP). Like others had posted it appeared to be under the podium. But after logging out and in again I found it resting atop the podium and readable.

I was able to get "Pierced Note" by camping outside the Rendoran Kinhouse and whispering people entering the house for a group invite. Once invited I was able to go to the third floor and get the book. It's on a wall. While the patch notes say it is accessible, they didn't make the kinhouse accessable, so one needs to be in a group if you've already finished the Naryu quest.

i thought the coords come with the add-on. i don't have the books but when i right click on them it shows the coords for the DC base so i asked a friend to check because he has them and it shows same coords for him :Cyrodiil 6,67x28,86 for Info... and 6,39x28,54 for Update... I still hope they will move them to the gate like they did with AD side and EP side (when i started to serious collect them the AD were in the base as well and recently maybe 1-3 months they were moved to the left gate) so there is still hope

Now i miss those 2 and the wonderful Orders to Halskar which is still inaccessible even if u group with someone who does the quest(like for Pierced note) . That person gets phased.

Anyone have a screenshot of the map where they found Star Teeth Volume 1 in Crypt of Hearts II? I'm on Xbox so coordinates don't help.

“A smuggler’s plan”in Grahtwood is bugged as well as “smuggler’s note” in Auridon. Both can’t be accessed after the quest.
Also “the Lost warrior”, “the theif’s luck” and the “mages cipher” also cannot be accessed after completion of the quest in Abamath ruins.

Beware the shadow scales - supposed to be in Arenthia in Reapers, but in locked district after quest. Numerous other books moved to accessible area of city after quest, but I can’t find this one. Searched everywhere night and day and still can’t find. Any help?

Pelinal Volume 10 is in Cyrodiil. Where the holiday event was taking place for your faction. It's next to where the priest was preaching about Pelinal to a group of people.

Found it. Thank you. For EP, it’s directly east of the north gate transitus on the platform by the wall.

Anyone know if they fixed Orders from Halskar with Dragon Bones? It's not listed in the patch notes but I find it odd that it would be one of the only ones if not the only one they didn't add a post quest location for.

Don't have a screenshot but I can tell you it's on a podium in the room with a square pool where you fight the Chamber Guardian. When you enter that room it's straight ahead opposite side. If you turn left you will miss it.

If people are looking for maps with coordinates (to make up for not having the book add on, esohead has a collection with coordinates. The only ones that doesn’t work at the moment is the sewers map other than that I haven’t had a problem.

Looking for "Death is No Laughing Matter" and "Journal of Orryn the Black" from Fang Lair if anyone has spotted them and remembers the locations.

@Meesha1170 i hope i don't remember it wrong but "Journal of Orryn the Black" it is in the last room where the boss is, on the floor, on the side where you read the HM book. there is the book for hm then a gate then there is this one .

Thanks, you were right. It's on the ground to the right of the final unopenable gate near the wall in the final boss room. Also found "Death is No Laughing Matter" near a Mammoth Corpse before the second boss, the one that's a skeletal bear and two other undead creatures.
