[Suggestion] Ishammael's Vision for Cyrodiil Improvements (with a Map!)

    I am around since beta, but this is my first time I break my silence in forums on any of my accounts. ESO story is baised among others on war of 3 aliances. How the heck is pvp not a priority? Make a huge player community finally happy and give us Cyrodiil we deserve. Ish an Kenas ideas are certainly the way.

    We've heard the ESO is getting a Barber Shop, some Argonian Zone, and re-scaled Silver/Gold zones so that all of Tamriel is accessible no matter your level.

    What additions to Cyrodiil are being planned?

    I like the ideas mentioned here. Especially the solution to add an additional independant transit line between towers. But before we even consider these ideas, I think there are major points that need to be addressed such as how emperorship works (throning and dethroning mechanism, how to obtain it, Alliance points VS Score points, scroll values, etc).

    • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
    • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
    • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
    • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this
    • Fix long loading screens (mostly caused by players joining group out of rendering range)
    • Add 2 more quickslots to the wheel or add a different wheel for sieges weaponry only
    • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
    • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams
    • Fix the permanent block animation - see examples : link1 link2 link3 link4 link5
    • Gives players 10 minutes to get back into Cyrodiil after relogging / crashing
    • Add a function to ignore the Claiming system of useless rewards
    • Improve the Mailing System / Rewards of the Worthy stacking
    • Assign specific group sizes to specific campaigns (24-16-8)
    • Make forward camps impossible to place near objectives
    • Make snares only available from ground effects abilities
    • Change emperorship to last minimum 24hours
    • Fix body sliding after cc breaking too quickly
    • Remove Block Casting through Battle Spirit
    • Fix the speed drop while jumping - see video
    • Fix loading screens when keeps upgrade
    • Fix Rams going crazy (spinning around)
    • Bring back dynamic ulti regeneration
    • Fix speed bug (abilities locked)
    • Introduce dynamic population
    • Lower population cap by 20%
    • Add Snare Immunity potions
    • Bring resurrection sickness
    • Fix character desync

    There are plenty of PvE zones for you to fight deadra in.

    It looks like the town capture system at least got implemented . Congrats . On the Test Server it's a nice edition but the flag guards are very weak . It's easier then taking a resource currently . I'm not sure if it's intentional because you can spawn in a safe zone or not . I look forward to seeing how it looks live . I'm just glad at least twice now ZOS has listened and at least implemented some of these good ideas .

    the game overall population is not enough for such features, and then again, all ZOS what been doing is decreasing number of players in campaigns since beta because they dont know how to propeply make a "massive PvP" as advertised..

    I has question.

    @ZOS_MattFiror said in his 2017 Roadmap thing that Cyrodiil performance is their PvP related priority this year.

    Working on features like these would spread people out, increasing performance, but they would also make PvP more popular and enjoyable for everyone.

    What are the realistic chances that ZOS considers or works on additions like these to the base game?

    If ZOS implemented changes like this, ESO would be the best PvP MMO in the world, without a doubt.

    I know this is from last year, but its still relevant.

    Town captures were added its true. I like it. Unfortunately, we need a REASON to go there. Some resource to fight over or harvest or something. As it stands, the town fights are great fun... when you do them. Most of the time players just use the towns to Bloodport.
