NA PC BWB second attempt

It is weird, until recently, DC never really have 3 bars population. Sometimes, I look at the map when we are taking everything easily and DC will have 3 bars and AD will have 2 bars. Then later I would look at the map and DC will have 2 bars and AD will have 3 bars. It is almost like people flip to DC and then flips back to AD but nobody mentions anything in chat about it, so it is a mystery to me if that is really what is going on. However, this morning I heard 2 DC members in chat talking about logging back into their AD characters.

It really does suck when the campaign is not balanced. When DC has 3 bars, I really don't even like playing because it is just too easy. However last night there were some fun moments. DC had 3 bars and AD had 3 bars and EP had 2 bars when they dethroned the DC emp. Those are the moments I like, even if we get pushed back.

The last few days I have had so much fun training noobs ( chokes when I typed that ). One noob wanted to kill everything but always ended up dead. Sometimes they would go afk ( without hiding ) in places you are never supposed to go afk ( like the active front door of the enemy keep). Then last night i was teaching a noob how to take a resource. I put her on my siege. The problem was I kept telling her to stop, but she continued firing the siege even after we already took the resource. Then I had her siege the front door of Roe, after a few minutes I knew the side wall was down, but I was think I might as well just let her break down the door instead of going in and getting killed.

Noobs are so much fun ( chokes again ) but advertising in PvE does help if you want more people to join your alliances.

new blood for the Wölfpack lol ... yeah last night def had some fun moments .... at one point i just felt like messing around a little bit ... saw an AD sorc standing outside of i think Nik so i decided it would be funny to just ride up next to them and just sit there ... so i did lol.... took the AD member a few moments to realize that the person next to them wasn't from his faction ... when he did notice i was DC he started a full on assault on me.... just stood there for a few minutes while he attacked me... felt bad ... a little... cause my health never dropped below 90%... after a few minutes i decided to get to work and killed him.... was funny while it lasted though

@vamp_emily , I'm a noob erryday. It's awesome to hear that you're taking time to pick people up. I know that I've been making more of a conscious effort over the past month to try to pull people out of zone that are LFG and willing to use TS into our server and lay out some of what I know as best as possible. It's been really awesome and we've recruited some really great folks into our guild.

Honestly, I think that's one of my favorite aspects of BwB (besides the build variety and having to learn how to kill folks at level 15, etc.) - we get to be some of the first people to make an impression on new players. I've gotten to explain everything from why resto staff using stamDKs aren't good to creating choke points and line of sight (admittedly, I'm no BwB daddy at this).

I can't wait until my crowns come in so that I can reroll some new adenomas and feed their horses. I get a lot of flak in guild for having the slowest horse in Tamriel.

On a side note, I'm super duper pumped to hear that DC has been fairly dominant for the last week of campaigning. It's been a little tiresome to log in and have a hard time finding a fight as an AD that isn't at a trikeep/scroll gate. I became most interested in playing BwB when AD was a bit overmatched outside of primetime by DC and EP. During my first emperorship it was a constant back and forth cycle of DC/EP/AD emperors. I think that a lot of the population is fluctuant, but maybe not as much as many imagine. I think most of it just has to do with kids buying the game now that they're on summer vacation. I mean, if it weren't for my roommate I would have rolled DC because their banner looks a lot cooler - plus, redguard/breton or bust!

I had the day off yesterday so I jumped on my squishy healer early afternoon to roam around cyrodiil giving out my heals for free, because that is the kind of guy I am. Anyway, pure healer, super squishy... maybe not the best choice to solo... but, what the heck... so I roll up on bleakers because EP is sieging and by the time I get there the battle is over and DC has defended. So I stealth and sneak around the south side to the porch and see a lone DC on his horse... I think what the heck... sneak up and get him a couple times with my arrows and he is pulled from his horse.... I charge in... a couple light hits... a few jabs.... health drops maybe to 90%, and i pull a guard... I start backing up... avoiding the guard and I realized the DC isn't fighting back... I back up enough so the guard resets and the DC is just standing there and then i look at his name... Doc Holiday... the Emp. I stop... /sit2 and we just stop.... he bows, waves, then rides off on his horse.... funnest thing ever!

I was with the group the took both our scrolls back last night. I logged off after the second one was returned, about 11.30PDT. They were still pressing on, so I have no idea what the map looks like now. Group was mostly Aussie and kiwis and a couple of insomniacs.... @basement_ghost , I needed that blood port really, really badly. Plus, last night was rough playing only for a tiny bit with hotel wifi. Thankfully, I've got a decent connection after this plane takes off and lands. Ya'll are goofy!

lol yeah... im fairly certain if that happened in any other campaign the emp would have just jumped on u .... BwB just seems to have a respect level ( granted some players are excluded from this statement ) that is not seen in any other of the campaigns ... AS there is CONSTANT T-Bing and arrogant whispers ... quite often in BwB i get the opposite ... if i do get a whisper... its usually something on the lines of "Great/Good/Nice Kill" or something in a joking manner ...

Absolutely! I have a huge amount of respect for people who play well (well, "huge" keeping in mind this is ONLY a video game! ), wishing I had the time to do as well. More than once I've watched as someone has 1vXed some of us and I've made it a point to whisper him and congratulate him/her (as my corpse rests at his feet!).

On a side note, it really is annoying the people who have special characters in their name... makes it hard to whisper them!

PvP is a bad influence on me.

Woke up this morning to feed/train some horses and seen a fight outside of ash. I went to ash and we killed AD and then went and took nikel.

Well I was sitting in nikel, afk, and came back to see 2 AD trying to attack the guards ( they were hiding in the keep after everyone left ).

A few of us killed them. And this is what I said:

me: got to be better than that.. i'm everywhere
ad: get wrecked son
me: looks like you got wrecked l2p son
me: got to play smarter when i am in cyro
ad: u just got wrecked 5 times lol
ad: ty for the fun times
me: I got what i wanted that is all that matters. Nikel and you dead.

What is wrong with me? I must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

DEF agree with u @Adenoma for most of the time i was on last night all 3 factions had the same amount of bars... but then ep dropped a bar... but all in all it was a VERY balanced and enjoyable night

Perhaps I will have to make a commitment to playing here full time this week. I can't explain why, but my time in BWB has been steadily reduced every day for the last month.

Yeah. Can't really figure out why. Have just lost the will to play. I think it started with the whole CE thing. I had a suspicion for a long time that people were using something to get an edge. With the confirmation and lack of consequences, I guess I just stopped caring.
