NA PC BWB second attempt

@TipsyDrow i'm 100% DC lol... never had another faction alt before. Welcome to the DC fam btw.. just shocked they didnt dethrone... when we were defending ash 2 nights ago there were about 30+ AD members that ended up storming it and taking it figured that train was gonna just continue right on down the line of keeps lol

I dunno what AD is like now or what leaders still exist but back just before TG dropped and then just after, there was entirely to much selfish, to much stupid and to much ego in AD BWB. Now I stopped playing shortly after TG dropped and have only recently returned about a week ago and rolled DC. Here's what I found so far. There is almost always someone willing to lead a group of us silly pugs. Most leaders I see in zone chat are helpful as opposed to being full of themselves. There seems to be a spirit of cooperation in DC that AD simply did not have. Take all this for what it is. My opinion. But there could be some fundamental truths in my opinion that directly relate to the state of AD atm.

My first toon was DC, didn't jump into PvP until lvl 35 or so, which was about a year ago. I was not in a guild, just a noob pug looking for guidance. There always seemed to be a leader who picked me up, helped us pugs out, stayed positive, and generally lead a good group... Very rarely did I need to request for a group twice in zone before I got picked up. Awesome experience.

I then vet out, didn't want to go to vet, so I rerolled an EP toon, got him up to lvl 15 or so, and stepped into BWB as EP.... And there was no one there... no groups picked me up... sometimes multiple sessions in a row.... Eventually I got picked up and invited to House Sotha, then The Disenfranchised, and have had a much better experience... but I did notice that the culture of the factions seem quite different...

there are 2 things that helped me learn the ways of PvP ... being a member of the PUGz of Daggerfall.... and the continued fight against the GoNB's ... i have learned A LOT from fighting them and i def think that i have become a better PvPer from it... def always enjoy having a little run in with @DeadlyRecluse & @Adenoma seems like i still learn a little more each time too

I think for many of the main "leaders" of the AD groups, we are just tired (and new content). Like I've said to some of my fellow AD folks before... I'm an administrator in my real life, so sometimes coming back to BWB and leading a group feels like more work than game play. It's the Little Red Hen all over again... I need more people willing to help make bread and not just want to eat it.

BUT I'M ON VACATION THIS WEEEEKKKK!! WOOo!!!!!! *drinks beer*

Ha! We split our group and sent half up to dragon while I went with the other half to ... chal.... I think.... anyway ts was pretty funny... went something like this:

A) just ran past a group of ad at the dolman.... I think they saw me.
2) yeah... but quiet here at Dragon..
...
A) ok... walls down... a few DC inside... we are taking them....
C) hey... there are a bunch of ad in wedding dresses here... not attacking...
......
2) ok... DC down... dragons ours... oh... here come the wedding dresses....
....
A) wiped.... what is AD doing up here anyway!?!?

If you're looking for a tight organized group of players, basements group is well rounded. Of course if you want a mass of all the pugs there's disenfranchised. Every other EP group is on vacation at lol

Having trouble understanding this post. I count 20 or so blues in this shot and see 18 in group on your screen. Am I missing something or did one large group just beat another large group?

I understand what you are getting at. The original screen shot just makes the statement invalid in my opinion. We all zerg. But to call out DC using the current screen shot is like saying that one Ford truck is better than another Ford truck because of its color.
