if i remember correctly... DC DID in fact zerg.... but i dont think it was for an entire week.... it happened right after the ad zerg fest when dc pop was VERY low after DB drop ( i think we had about 10 people on on total.... i tried to defend against the zerg with 3 others at one of the keeps... but failed due to it being 4 against double digits ) ... i think what u are refering to though is when we were pushing for Outlaw to become Emp .. cause we tried to push the map hard for it

I felt so bad last night. In zone chat I was saying something like:

- 3 sieges south side of brindle on the hill ( btw there is no hill south side of brindle )
- outer almost down, 5 sieges are on brindle
- outer down, can I get some support. Not many AD here.
- inner is about to pop
- 20 AD just took the top, I need help at brindle now

I died, then noticed Brindle was not flagged. I TP'd there and seen 10 DC running around.

Ugh, all that time I was at Fare not Brindle.

Last night someone from EP jumped from the bleakers porch to the top floor and killed me. Where are these super powers coming from? I see people jumping on walls at ash, I see people walking in air and now super jumping on top of bleakers.

There has been lots of discussion about this lately. I may be in the minority here, but intended mechanic or not, I'm personally OK with people leaping into a defended keep. I don't mean your friend is on an alt. defended. I mean actually defended. I mean if I'm standing on the inner at Ash and you are on the outer above the main gate wanting to leap at me, bring it. I'm OK with that.

Agreed, leaping onto walls and ambushing into keeps DURING a siege is pretty cool, adds a fun and disruptive element to what is otherwise a pretty boring siegefest.

But yeah, using a friend's alt to do it is super cheesy and stupid. And, I would add, the stuff last week (you could ambush through outpost grates from front door to horseshoe, for instance) and the current crit rush functionality is a little goofy.

So last night I was with a small group and joined some pugs in pushing into Aleswell for the dethrone. Heavy resistance, help from AD, good fight getting into the outer then working on the inner. Finally our side fell, AD on the other side opened a second hole and EP pushed in to take the top. I run up, set up oils and begin dumping them down to the last remaining DC on the front flag. As I'm doing this, I watch a DC slide along the floor on the bottom, hit the wall, slide straight up the wall to the stairs... I believe it was a crit charge or some sort of gap closer.... but just crazy.... That battle was pretty fun, though. Good times!

yeah gap closers have been 100% f*&ked to hell and back with the DB release ... on Ookami i use the S&B gap closer and it flies me across the battle zone... or up in the air.... or across the map on occasion

Yeah, read about it here, but hadn't seen it until last night. I have noticed that it seems like all of the gap closers animation is just off... odd... even when it works as intended.

NOBODY zergs like ad zergs.....

and this isnt even ALL of them that were at ash ... there were about 5 that went out of screen and a few more near my body ( croped out that part cause it displayed names and more outside ) DC put up 1 hell of a fight though

That looks fun, but I got to live the amazing life of vicious death NB emp. With the AP changes I had proxy and the alliance war passives so I could drop back to back bombs - limited only by the proxy timer duration. But you've got me itching to fiddle with a blazing shield build, especially now that there are some different set tweaks to be made. I just don't think I'd bother playing with it unless I were pushing emp.

Yeah I did NB emp with proxy before vicious death and AP changes, probs best build all round. Blazing shield is fun coz it's different but has a lot of draw backs and isn't very strong without CP.

i can vouch for the not being very strong without CP lol.... i didnt last long at all on my previous templar after cp removal in BwB .... i DO remember fighting Nigel back then though.... i was still fairly new and didnt know what i was doing half the time in pvp lol...

I have a question about healers. I thought they made a change to the way heals are distributed. Last night I was trying to heal my partner and noticed my heals looking like they were healing non-grouped players.

Do heals heal players that are not in your group?

I never understand why they ever let CP into BwB. BUT, I always miss moments like these; where an alliance teams up and tries to kill and over powered player ( so much fun ). Ya, we still have emps but I kind of miss CP in BwB.

I need to re-phrase my prior quote from only "having" one skill to only "needing" 1 skill on your bar. If I'm honest with myself I have to admit that the "1" skill killed me as many times as anybody else. Just giving credit where it is due.
