I'm just disappointed that it's 9pm eastern and literally there are 10 people online for AD. I don't blame them - if I were a pug I'd be pissed when 20 DC show up to a tri keep.

Maybe it's the same people that faction swap? I think every faction has been represented here, and all have said the same thing basically. "We have said in zone to lay off the tri-keeps". Those of us here on the forums who run in established guilds must be the minority.

I just posted this elsewhere, but it was pretty funny to have happen in our TS last night. @DeadlyRecluse said something to the effect of "Why aren't those oils tipping?!" And I had mysteriously been teleported off the oils on the south door of Nikel to outside of the outpost on the north side.

Also, I'm getting tired of getting hit with diet wrecking blow (dizzying swing) through cloak.

So yesterday, outside Nikel, I hit a gapcloser...and flew through the air to Roe. Then to Ash. Then back to Nikel and finished the charge to target (dealt damage and everything).
    It was wacky.

Also, you can crit charge vertically up keep walls onto inners. Doesn't seem as consistent as leap, though.
Resource towers are doing weird things too, with everyone popping out of them like like that old Perfection game.

On the topic of campaign health, eh, whatever. It's a DLC week, it's always kinda bad--I'm still having fun testing things and leveling up characters 9-11--at least I know I can get a steady stream of blue test dummies wherever I go! And poisons aren't as gamebreaking as I feared, so that's good.

Ya some weird stuff has been going on with my characters.

I charge someone and end up going in the air.
Sometime, even before the update I try to WB someone and my character just jerks back and forth without executing the WB. Well now the same thing is going on with my Ult. I try to execute my alt and my character just jerks without doing anything else.

@vamp_emily , before Emperor Colorectal Adenoma was cut down in his V16 prime by unscheduled server maintenance I was having the same problem. It got worse with my heavy/light attack weave. On the note of ultimate, apparently the cost reduction passives aren't kicking in for ultimates - I think this is most relevant for Templars and Sorcerers, right? I'm not sure that NB or DK have ultimate cost reduction.

Emily is in a very bad place right now in BwB and not really knowing what to do, because I enjoy playing PvP and I enjoy being part of "Pugz of Daggerfall" guild.

I have to confess I was one of the hypocrites that @Adenoma speaks of. I was one of the gate campers.

I haven't ran with my guild since Rak became Emp, so last night I felt it was my duty as a member to participate in the Pugz Group. Well we defended Fare, and we took BB. Further more, at one time we were told to either gate camp or help siege BB.

We did leave for AS shortly after that; but still, what am I supposed to do?

You have members of DC crying about how AD gate camps and zerges. They talk about how AD is making BwB not fun any more, but the same people that are saying this are the same people that are sitting at the gate waiting to gank anyone who comes through.

On the other hand, you have enemy players saying its not right to gate camp and we wouldn't do that. Why should I care about my enemy? Deep down inside I think AD should be pushed right out of BwB, and EP as well. They are my enemy, they have caused me plenty of pain and suffering in the past. Why should I care?

One part of me just wants to leave the guild and just do what I think is right, but then the biggest part of me will feel sad if I leave the guild.

I get so confused some times, I don't know what is right or wrong anymore.

    Now that...is interesting.

For the record, when AD had the map last weekend and early this week, of the 4ish major AD PvP guilds:
    1. We wouldn't go past Glade lumber. We went to that resource a few times after AD wiped on glade, but we didn't push the keep itself. Mainly we stayed on the emp ring.
    2. A second guild had it's best leaders/players stay out of the campaign until we were down to homekeeps.
    3. A third kicked guild members who pushed Glade or Arrius, and didn't run groups. Not even kidding, people were kicked for sieging Glade.
    4. The fourth didn't really run groups.

So hearing that a DC guild may have been calling for a gatecamp is...food for thought.

Honestly its Like New Years Eve when a new DLC hits and all the campaigns get over run by the amateurs . I popped in about 7:30 pm cst after I sobered up and Got some AP from a Defense at Alessia then stuck around till BM and BB where retaken but you can tell as myself that most players where on there vets in PVE land . So by mid next week heck maybe sooner the hangover of the new DLC will be over.

Just echoing @DeadlyRecluse , AD has felt like a different alliance for a little while. While our large zone guilds have ran very successful groups that have crowned a number of AD players (and I'm thankful for their help crowning me), they have barely been running. At least, the normal leaders have essentially not run groups. For the most part, the groups pushing towards EP/DC scrolls have been totally disorganized sneaking gank zergs.

I'm really surprised and a bit disturbed that a DC guild has told its players to hold AD at a gate.

Emily, just say "no" and be clear about why. On principle, I won't push past the emp ring unless it's for a DC scroll. My vet PVP guild knows my stance well, and I bowed out of more Blackwater groups then I've can count by saying "I don't push gate keeps. I'm out, have fun."

There have been plenty of fun, small fights this week at BRK, Nikel, Chal and Roe to entertain those of us who refused to defend Fare or BB.

Furthermore, on Wednesday somebody in /z questioned the state of the map. You responded that is was "just so easy to do now that we finally outnumber them" and "they did it to us for so long" . Somebody else responded that "it doesn't make it right" and you remained silent on the subject.

When the raid leaders and outspoken representatives of our factions participate in gate camping, it promotes it. It is up to all of us to promote honorable gameplay instead

last night for example... i jumped up to Dragonclaw and noticed that Bloodmayne resources were being taken ... in zchat i asked who was attacking Bloodmayne and was told which group... so i replied with... "y... there is NO scroll there?!"... just dont understand how pushing the enemy to their home bases and keeping them there can be fun

    I do remember that.

I'm not sure what you are trying to point out in that conversation but let me clear it up a little.

Players in Zone chat were talking about how big and bad DC was. I looked at the population and DC had 2 bars and others had 1 bar. I went to a few keeps and seen a few AD laying dead. But every time I seen DC it was like 15 to 20 players in a group.

So someone made another comment about how strong DC was. I responded with something like "Ya its just too easy, when we finally outnumber them".

I've never been good with words, but in that conversation I was down playing their comments. I personally wouldn't be bragging about how big and bad DC was when it was 15-20 players walking over at the most 5 AD.

I don't recall saying "they did it to us so long", but I may have said that.

But I do remember someone saying "It doesn't make it right". The reason I did not respond is because I agreed. Shortly after that I made a comment like "Is there even any AD in BwB?" but that may have been in guild chat.

Nothing really was wrong with the map at that time, it was just the fact AD didn't have any players on defending any keeps and we crowned Emp with almost no fight.

I apologize in advance for the length, but it's been awhile since I've been on.

As a person who roams between the guilds as either a leader or participant, I have been trying very hard to express to players about being fair and killing the map. I appreciate that Adenoma shared he was urging people during his emp to not take the tri-keeps. I get into some arguments with people about gate farming, night capping, etc. (even with other leaders) and sharing with them that at some point, when there is nothing to do, you have to leave the map and do something else. A lot of the leaders were working on getting ready for DB and now currently playing it, as well as trials, etc. I've been catching up on PVE (finally doing TG...) as well, but went to lead for a little bit yesterday to at least try and push back the gate farm because DC members were camping at the edge of the map, right at the ledge or doors to leave the Eastern or Western gates.

I appreciate that Emily admitted to participating in the activity, I think that speaks volumes to you being open and honest with us as we all discuss the trials and tribulations of playing in BWB. It seems that we consistently see a lot of new people (I mean, it's not a members only club) in BWB who just want to push everything and don't really understand the unspoken rules and etiquette of the gameplay. I've tried to lead some "training" groups to help teach people these things, but at the end of the day some people are just a**h***s who want to cheat and troll. It's like having a great kickball game, and there's that guy who kicks it away from everyone else into oncoming traffic just to ruin the game.

We've also been in conversations about the faction-flopping that doesn't help with the population control. Last Saturday, I know of one person in particular who flipped from his AD to DC toons at least 5 times during the session because if someone made him upset, he'd try to gank them on his other character, and then come back to play and complain in /z. I wish ZOS could find a way to halt this, and attach campaigns to the username as opposed to the character, so that players couldn't do this as easily during the various campaigns.

Happy Friday to you too, Emily, and everyone else... This is my mantra for today at work. See you all this weekend hopefully.

Exactly. Honestly, if it is a slow campaign, even defending the middle trikeep isn't completely garbage, as that can be played around. But defending/retaking gatekeeps is utter trash.
