Scathing Mage Set Drop Rate ICP

I have 0 divines pieces of scathing Mage after over 100+ run throughs including trophy room chests with daedric shackles. When you buffed this set for TG update did you also make it impossible to get? Is this your way of stretching out the content? I'm just curious because I'm about to give up

I'm in the same boat, but I'm just not getting any drops at all. 100's of runs. last 10 runs ive gotten 2 drops of light reinforced gear. with 5 bosses per run that's a 4% drop rate of crap drops. really fkn ridiculous. i'm not only about to give up on ICP drop sets but the game itself. I've got better things to do than run a lengthy and difficult dungeon 3 times and get no drops at all like last night.

I've done around 100 runs or more myself and yet to drop a single divine piece, (infact dropped only 1 piece all in all).

I've long since given up because the vICP grind is futile. Great design once again.

No idea why they didn't implement a token system for the loot already

Most frustrating thing I've come across yet. I'm lucky to even see one combat physician well fitted drop which is worthless. So rewarding

dontcha worry boys, i been grinding wgt for my perfect settraits for 500 run or so. 100 is quite nothing

and yes, i am still hunting, so wgt grind continues.

This is why we need a token system. It simply is not fun hunting for those random pieces when the trial themselves are only interesting for the leaderboard scores .

The itemization in this game is a (insert colorful word here) atrocity. Mmo's have progressed past heavy layers of rng. There is no excuse for the development team relying on an arcane concept that has proven to drive the player base crazy. The rng in this game is reminiscent of Asian grind fest mmo's. Layers upon layers of rng padding content is just lazy design. We don't try for item sets because we want to mindlessly grind to get them, we want to play with them and use them. You have a plethora of options you could implement: get rid of garbage traits in the loot tables, go with token systems, drop BoP garbage, or even rework traits so that we actually have more than 2 use able traits out of the 9. Seriously, nobody uses any of them. Have well fitted mean something so that if it drops, a player doesn't feel like it's a slap in the face and thinks, "hmmm maybe I could rework my build." When the game went buy to play it destroyed itemization. Seriously zos, it doesn't have to feel like we are banging our heads against a brick wall. Put some thought into itemization, and breath life into the traits. Something. Anything other than what we currently try have.

How much is the possibility to get Gloves of The Scathing Mage from the last boss? add that to the chance of getting the perfect piece (divines in my case).

Now whats the chance of getting 6 Gloves of Scathing all with Well-fitted? 0 other traits after hundreds of runs. This happened to a friend of mine

i have 4 divine pieces of scathing mage .... but ... 4 *** ... again and again the same piece and ALWAYS on the same boss ...

I only need the belt and gloves divine.
I can live with my Infused Pants but I really need divine belt so I can wear an undaunted set and my gloves are currently infused as well, which really sucks on small pieces.

Man, I really hope the devs implement some sort of "dungeon completion counter".

At least people would then know they are not telling the truth when they say "I have done xDungeon 500 times".

Was just about to post lol at 600 runs of ICP. To quote Vince.... no chance in hell... took most groups 100 runs to actually complete it.let along farm it over and over lol.

Tokens would solve so any issues, at the very least as mentioned above...rework traits. Imagine if well-fitted reduced the cost of spells or skills? I'm struggling on ICP to get even one decent chest piece, so many Well Fitted. Sigh.

I've done somewhere around 300+ runs of VICP since it came out. I have 3 out of 5 pieces of scathing mage in divines. it does seem to have a lot lower drop rate than the other sets as I've probably completed the other sets you can get in there twice over.

I farmed WGT for 3 months, first 3 weeks I did nothing but grinding it mindlessly. I still don't have divine boots and gloves v16 yet.... and that is the easy dungeon

I haven't even attempted to complete vICP dungeon and quest yet, because after the heavy grind in WGT I just gave up. RNG on top of RNG really sucks.

RNG to get sets you need, RNG to get the pieces you need, RNG to get the traits you need.

I suspect I have earned around 500k-1million just by selling Charcoal of Remourse from deconstructing Harvest Dirk and Lost Hatchets.

Done hundreds of runs of this dungeon and I have two divines scathing pieces robe and hat (useless) and one well fitted leeching piece, it's not uncommon to run this dungeon 3 and 4 times in a row and get zero group drops. Zos really needs to take a look at the drop rate in there and also remove the crappy traits from the chests, there is absolutely no reason at all to have those chests which we have to grind for drop well fitted and reinforced. I'm just about over this stupid rng upon rng system, get it together ZOS you're wasting our time.

Have fun farming. It took me 280+ runs to get my Molag Kena helm, and because of it? I'm now on a break from this game. The loot tables are horrible, and it's past time that a token system was created and implemented into this game. But of course, the developers don't care. Oh sure. They'll lie and say, "It's being worked on." or "We'll consider it." But, all and all? I highly doubt they give a damn about us. They care more about our money, than they care about our enjoyment overall in this game. Key word being "overall".

Frankly I don't even think shoulders and heads should drop to begin with but maybe I'm biased.

dropping scathin mage is like dropping moondancer jewelry in nMoL... it only drops to the other group members, leaving me behing with stuff I already have in every possible trait
