Agree 100% with Feng. He's the only person to not filter his opinion and come up with an opinion that is actually valid for that matter. Unfortunately, ZoS has taken a really great idea and completely shredded it into something mediocre at best. I love both PvE & PvP, but the way they've handled not just balance between both but handled compromise between both portions of the community, is an absolute slap in the face.

I'll never really understand why certain people will stay inside ZoS's sinking ship and keep sucking up water with a smile. I understand people's connection to Elder Scrolls or MMO's, but at the end of the day it boils down to them being in total denial of having invested in a perpetually shattered game. Nobody wants to be the guy who choose wrong, completely understand. To each there own, but as for the rest of us we'll keep questioning ZoS and their competence of their OWN game.

It's one thing for an update/patch/expansion to be tolerable, but where they're going with this game is intolerable to myself and should be to others. I really hope that ZoS can turn this around! This game has so much potential to be the next big name MMO for years to come, but only if they build it right. Marketing and promotions will only go so far until the entire community realizes what you're doing and doesn't just turn on you but leaves with their money elsewhere. Just ask Bungie. Don't be Bungie.

FENG RUSH makes one fatal mistake in his assessment of ESO... not all of us are "Long Term MMO Players".. many MANY of us are "Long Term TES Players"

But overall... He's pretty spot on with his criticisms.

And then, something obscure and not publicly mentioned is changed requiring us to re-accept the TOS (otherwise we can't even login anymore) like if we could even compare to the older text (who is paranoid enough to keep "version control" of TOSs) and we read it carefully just to see that basically the whole Section 6 is a general f*ck off saying exactly what Feng said but with legal speech.

And we can't even sell our game we paid for because we're not allowed to transfer our accounts to someone else. I spent more than 300$ in the game due exchange rates in my country and I'm not the real owner of its licenses. That's unreal!

Company keeps screwing the game, from performance and down to mechanics and content, patch after patch, and I can't get a refund because... oh wait! It's also in the freaking TOS >:(

Speak for yourself on this matter. I and many others enjoy this game, and I personally think its just beginning. Having come from an actual sinking ship, DC Universe Online (DCUO), where the devs really do not care about the game or the players and have a toxic and very greedy attitude, I can tell the difference. Looking at the posts in this forum, the updates, and the community, in my opinion ZOS does care about the game and the players and it seems to me they are always trying to find a way to balance the game and even listen to the players within reason.

I appreciate that balance, especially coming from DCUO where there is NO such thing as balance, and that company just makes tons of money releasing over powered flavor of the month powers so that everybody pays real money to switch to the FOTHM power. In this game there are no replay badges, there is a ton of content that is ever growing, dlc's are epic, and there seems a continual strive for balance, and you do not even need a subscription to play, and you are not limited in any way in the game. If you need a good comparison, leave this game and go join DCUO. I think then you will see this game and the devs through new eyes.

The part where he talks about them being unwilling to remove AoE caps...

When AoE caps were announced, players told ZOS that if the game had AoE caps were in place, PvP would become a lag fest.

They didn't heed the warning, and the lag has become a mess.

Since then, they pour resources into "fixes" like removing deer and torchbugs from Cyrodiil.

At this point, they won't remove AoE caps because it will fix the issue, and that would require ZOS to admit that players were right, and that all the resources they invested into alternate means of approaching the issue were flawed.

ZOS keeps trying to put a band-aid over a bullet hole, while ignoring the insight that the bullet needs to be removed.

@FENGRUSH is the man. Literally touched every subject that irks me about this game and it's developers. I've only been playing since console release and have the utmost respect for the ones who have been here since beta...Idk how you have all dealt with the spew of crap ZOS calls their "updates".

There are SO MANY people who are extremely passionate about this game because it is literally one of the best MMOS to come out...HOWEVER...that number is dying (pretty rapidly) the more ZOS continues to work on spewing out content for the masses rather than addressing the actual issues that are letting this game reach its true potential. Do they care? Hell no. Will they change? Every one and their mother hopes so.

I joined the forums sometime after console release, and in less than a year I have already noticed a lot of names not participating in discussions anymore. Does this not ring any alarms???

I know ZOS reads all these posts ( I mean what else are they going to do? Actually fix broken lines of code? Righhtttttttt) and I honestly have lost 99% of my hopeful thoughts that maybe just MAYBE they will listen to their community and change things for the better (and correctly!)

P.s. I'm 24 and fresh out of college. All my design work is extremely time sensitive. If I EVER, I mean EVERRRRRR submitted any work that was a good comparison to what ZOS haS released as "finished" patches, you could bet your ass I would be jobless from the first time it happened...so whoever is leading you guys, SACK UP BRO. Seriously. People are getting nice and tired of your crappy work ethic. There are smaller indie companies pushing out content that is 100 times better than the stuff you put into live. Don't do it for us (that's a lie do it for us god dammit) do it for yourselves, because the recent updates are an exact representation of your effort.

Not saying I do not have some feeling towards Feng one way or the other. But, YOU were the one that agreed to the ToS so that is your own fault. If you are unhappy then cut your losses and play another game. Remember that companies respond to money. Take yours somewhere else and see what happens. Eso will either thrive or fold. But why stick around if the game makes you so unhappy?

I've been playing since beta. I hate a lot about this game, but I still play it. I will ***. I will get angry. I have pretty much finished everything there is to do and get bored sometimes. I'm not going to make a 30 minute video about how much I hate it. It is a game and if I get angry or bored, I just stop playing.

I quit december 2014; had done finished everything and LITERALLY did all trials 100+ times (AA+HRC)

I've just started end of January again; three dlcs, I can see myself going for a little while, but I don't know WTF people did in 2015 because there wasn't much of a change.

Honestly? It's really hard to disagree with Feng Rush on this one. As much as, I don't agree with some of his opinions, this video is just too real and on point. The PTS version of TG is waaaaay better than the live one. I didn't mind it at first, but later on I feel cheated. Because I (or anyone else) didn't deserve to play a beta version of the game. The amount of bugs in TG is just intolerable. It's silly. And there really is no excuse for them to be releasing a DLC that is NOT ready. I understand that games will always have bugs upon release, but it shouldn't feel like you're playing a beta version-- a version that feels like you're still testing it.

I have been a long time player as well and was in Beta (took the PC transfer to PS4)..and I agree with alot of what @FENGRUSH has stated.. I do hope they do eventually balance and fix alot of the game though.. I really love this game as well as many, many others, it can be alot of fun and I am one of those looking forward to the PvE of Thieves Guild when it comes to PS4 and the changes that are in store for us when Dark Brotherhood comes next..

I totally believe him that ZOS shuts people out if they are negative though, they seem like they do not want input on "thier Game" and I love and Loathe new DLC's, because of the added content and the bugs that I know will come with it..

I will stay for as long as I can with this game (I definitely have a higher tolerance than others that play this game) and maybe I will see good change coming one day and maybe not..

I do agree with Fengrush on some of his opinion's. PvP should be priority number one or else a lot of people will move on to other titles.

I think Fengrush has no idea about how casuals play and for how long they stay in a game. He said like 3 months and then they are leaving the game - why would they possibly do that?- They have seen like nothing from this game in 3 months, because they do neither rush through the content nor would they spend a lot of time playing - if they get to play 20 hours per month that is already a lot and if they get up to 40 they hit a boundary, where their spouses will start to seriously get mad at them.

For casuals the game content will not run out anytime soon - they simply are not gamers who would consume a game like it would be melting ice cream. They do not burn through the content like being on speed and they do not run around like squirrels from quest to quest - they try to enjoy their time in Tamriel, without stress or the insane idea, that endgame would be what the game would be about - it is not - that what hardcore gamers see as a necessary evil - the PvE content - that is their game. And that Pvp content is not much more than a necessary evil, because they will most likely never get to it anyway.

This game can perfectly live on for many years to come, paid solely by casual players - they might not play a lot, they will as well not be a burden on the servers, but they are willing to keep up a subscription for years to come - because that is what they want - enjoyable entertainment to get back to, whenever they have a couple of hours. They do not seek a challenge, but entertainment, something to get away from reality for a bit - so they stay subscribed, because this is the cheapest seen long term. And that is exactky what ZOS wants as well - reliable income for years to come - so it is a win-win situation - just not for hardcore players.
