Same here. My sorc has only two more pieces to go and I am done. I have a v16 Templar healer I need gear for as well. If I actually had a heavy armor or medium armor character it would have gone MUCH faster. Silk for robes is so much more difficult to acquire.

two vr16 toons and 2 sets of vr16 gold gear. I did not think it would make as big of difference as it did. Glad I went ahead and did it. It is worth it to upgrade to full vr16. Just wish there was a way to at least upgrade jewelry if not craft it ourselves like we could in Skyrim. Just seems silly to allow upgrades of every other type of gear but jewelry

Full VR 16 Gear

I have 5 full sets of Seducer, Magnus, Julianos, Kagrenacs and Twice Born Star. All legendary and 3-4 pcs of Overwhelming Surge, Spell Power Cure and Elemental Succession with divines and infused that I improved to legendary for when I get the rest of the pcs. I really can't bring myself to run a set unless it's legendary and that's including weapons.

As a crafter one thing Ive noticed is that people use way more purple glyphs than legendaries and no wonder Kuta cost like 20k and Rekuta 1-2k.

The crafted pieces I wear are all v16, I still have 1 v15 item, but it's a dungeon drop and I've been unlucky with RNG.

Regardless of dlc or not, materials are easy to buy. If you can't handle it by dungeoning, then go pick flowers + raw materials in ANY region and sell those to other players, cash in the money and go buy whatever your heart desires. It's really that simple, but you have to grind just SOMETHING to get it.

I have more sets than i no what to do with. I'm also quite surprised others still dont have even one set. between IC sets for talvar to the vWGT sets, the campaign rewards, maelstrom sets sets, ive probably got 4 or 5 armor sets without including the crafted sets.

Its quite surprising some people haven't got their first complete v16 set yet.

I have about 4 or 5 full sets of v16 gear for my 3 v16 for different situations. Usually I also transfer sets between characters. Some sets (I use more often) are full legendary, some not. Weapons are always legendary. I also have multiple sets of Willpower, Endurance and Agility with different enchantments.

All the gold VR16 gear in the world won't help when the zerg comes down the tunnel in the sewers or when you get zerged near a keep etc. Just a matter of how long it takes till you get popped

I have my main weapon and chest piece at VR16. But it's going to take a lot of time and gold before I can get enough rubedo leather and ingots to make the rest of my armour

Not to mention the cost of glyphs afterwards.

mines purely due to lack of motivation, i'm worried about upgrading to legendary more than anything due to the possibility of theives guild sets being closer to my playstyle than the current items i'm using, tho weapons will always be legand due to how much damage/healing they convert to

Had golden VR16 gear for a while now.

Even had extra temp alloy and D-wax, as well as tons of mats.

No reason not to, easy to farm mats or run sewers or even just run writs/break stuff down.

I have 6 characters that I rotate through, 5 v16, 1 v2. I don't really concider any of them as alts, 1 is my main crafter, the others I switch back forth with so I don't get bored. My weapons are v16, the armour is v15. I keep waiting to see what new sets will come out, so I don't want to commit the mats required for a full v16 set.

In fact, I do all of my theory crafting by MAKING the armor on live, so I've spent a ton of gold and tel var stones on so many different items. My DC Imperial Templar has the most slots out of any of my characters(140), so I have all my extra gear on her.
