Previously, I used Dwemer light armor. Lately, though, I use a combination of Merc (chest, shoulder), Imperial (gloves), and Yokudan (found set boots and belt -- wish I could craft this motif!). Looks good and classy to me.

A lot of brown dyes are too glossy, but this one looks really nice.
I like the mishmash idea in theory but in practice the dyes don't match between different styles. Ruins my immersion....

Argonian is fairly popular, and nord as well. I see a lot of bosmer too. Personally im running ancient orc but that one is expensive
