Fallout 4 is pretty cool. The salvage and construction system is looking to be like a Sims minigame and crafting got a major overhaul as well.

The engine is even more refined than Skyrim and has lots of pretty new effects (the sky dome for one is quite spacious).

It's a tough call, but I definitely will be playing Fallout 4 more than ESO at least for the next week while ZOS fixes immortal Nightblades and passive balance issues with their latest patch.

I'm sure they can do it though, I have faith in them!

Pre-downloaded it but didn't get a chance to start it up last night. Gonna dive in after work today and see how it goes.

I'll probably be back here in-between since i have a guild to run and horses to feed.

I am going to play both. For a few weeks, the emphasis will be on FO4, but I will play ESO at least every other day.

Suffered through FO3 & New Vegas. Those two games were enough to put me off another fallout game. In saying this, I will check out the reviews from time to time, watch game play footage, perhaps consider buying a copy next year.

Played FO3 on release day last time out and hated it from the very start. Not going to make that mistake again by getting FO4.

Fall Out can be a fun game, but I don't like guns and shooters games that much. I love sword and magic type games. I might play FO4 at some point, may be.

Looking at Metacritic players reviews is interesting to say the least. 534 negative reviews vs 404 positive.

Can the fallout people give estimates on how long they'll be away before they come skulking back so I know how much time I have for more peaceful, non-cluttered farming enjoyment?

My pc is just below the required min specs for FO4, so I will play it next year on a new one and for a much lower price/fewer bugs.

Just bought F4 for my PC today. I'm a little disappointed that the physical disc is just a Steam loader, but that's just the way things are these days in PC gaming, I guess. This is the first game I've bought for my PC in a while. But the videos for even the low-range PC's looked better than the consoles. And I may want to get mods at some point (Xbox and PS4 will supposedly be getting Fallout mods too at some point too, but who knows when that will be).

I'm far from a Master Race kind of guy. I play most games on PS4 and Xbox One these days. But I'm going to see how this looks on my mid-range PC. At least it has native controller support. I hate using keyboard/mouse.

I'm sure I'll be back to ESO, though. It's not going anywhere. And single-player games always come to an end at some point. And, as a bonus, Orsinium will be waiting for me on my PS4 when I get back.

I'm sure ZOS will forgive me. It's from their own sister studio, after all. Hope they let me bring my dog back with me when I come back. ;-)

As much as I love my PC, that is the reason I finally went over to the PS4 for games. Got tired of changing out the graphics card, more memory, etc etc etc

Seeing everyone on ESO using the PC I can see so many more options for the game, such as the add-ons.

My Pip-Boy edition for Xbox One arrives tomorrow. I'm a fan of both Elder Scrolls and Fallout so I'll be splitting my time between the Wasteland and Tamriel.

As for me... I've spent about 5 hours playing fallout today and I must say I had a blast! I was getting a lot of "oh man why doesn't ESO have this!?!" when I was crafting and building my little base. I did a typical encumbered run a pretty far distance... That was fun.

I did find myself thinking about Wrothgar (which I have yet to purchase) so I don't think I'll forgo ESO for Fallout 4.

And ESO's lip-synching is MUCH better than Fallout 4's IMO. If nothing else, fallout 4 has made me appreciate what ESO does well, characters, story, graphics, and animations.

But for now... back to the wasteland!

You mean VATS. One of the signature features of the series since Fallout 1. Yeah, why ever would they include that? Maybe because it's an RPG an not a shooter?

You know it's optional, right? Howard even said they tightened up the mechanics so you can play it as a pure shooter.

Teamfourstar are the makers of Dragon Ball Z Abridged (the 1 with millions of subscribers), Final Fantasy 7 Machinabridged, do various gameplay videos such as that 1, and have gotten so popular even with Funimation itself that their core members have actually had official voice roles with Funimation itself, including an extra voice role in Resurrection F and Dragonball Xenoverse. Dumplin is their "mascot" in DBX in fact lol

They even have merchandise!

I'll get fallout after i complete Divinity:OS enhanced edition, which might take a while.
The upside is that fallout will be out of public beta stage at that point
