UGH. I fear for the future of TES 6.

ZOS... please do not use Fallout 4 for UI inspiration. Just to be safe, you should destroy all copies of the game that employees might have and institute full body searches upon entry to the building to avoid contamination.
Bethesda hasn't made a good UI since Morrowind, so this comes as no surprise. TES VI can't possibly have worse UI than Skyrim.

Thank you.I fully agree.Morrowind is always going to be "it" for me.It's the best game I've ever played. Now,if they made IT into an MMO,Id be as happy as a clam at high tide.

I also do not play day 1 games anymore. Two reasons: too expensive + bugs.

    1) Main copy + DLC + season passes + this + that = I am broke.
    2) Most games take 4 to 5 patches to get things RIGHT.

I am still waiting for GTA5 to hit the $20 range. (Lowest I have seen were $29.9)

You mean VATS. One of the signature features of the series since Fallout 1. Yeah, why ever would they include that? Maybe because it's an RPG an not a shooter?

You know it's optional, right? Howard even said they tightened up the mechanics so you can play it as a pure shooter.

There was no VATS in F1 and F2.

Hello friends and random people, i was just wondering if you will still be playing ESO now that Fallout 4 has launch. I have had Fallout 4 since friday ( Because i can ) and personally i can say that i will be splitting my days between both games. What about you?? If you don't see any that match you please comment below!

no, I don`t care about Fallout, it looks good, but I do not like that post-apocalyptical atmosphere there.

Eso is fantasy game and I love fantasy, so I definitelly will stay here :)

I'm a Fallout fan. I think, Fallout 1-2 are best games in gaming history.

But we are living in ESO Age. Therefore, the winner iiis: Elder Scrolls Online

(After bug fixes, patches and DLCs, may be i can try FO4. Okay okay, to be honest, I will.. )

Strictly speaking, no. However, the reason for VATS goes all the way back to Fallout.

I am not getting into Fallout 4 as much as I did with prior titles. I would go as far to say that it is boring and uninspired. I feel like I am in a poor sequel to a good movie. ESO is in no danger on my part.

And again... @ZOS... please disregard the Fallout 4 UI as far as inspiration goes. BGS managed to take a familiar system of controlling the game (Fallout 3, NV, Skyrim, Oblivion) and make it complicated, harder to use, and prone to user error. I don't know what thought process goes into doing that, but if there is any chance if it being contagious...

I really wanted to get Fallout, but I am stuck between getting a xbox or a ps4. For the last few weeks i have been doing research on the consoles but still can't make up my mind.

I'm sure at some time I will get it just to see what it is like. I have heard good things about fallout; and since I am not very happy with eso now ( nerfing everything ) i'm looking for a new addiction.

@vamp_emily choosing between consoles can be hard, but it really comes down to the exclusive titles. It doesn't really matter which console is more powerful than which and MOST games these days come out for both systems, eventually.

Generally I tell people who are really interested in making their console their entertainment hub, and if they watch a lot of TV as well as play videogames that the Xbox One might be a good choice. The TV integration with snapping is a pretty neat feature.

If you don't care about TV... I'd recommend PS4 because I personally like the types of games that are exclusive on the PS4.

There's a pretty good chart here:
    http://www.ign.com/wikis/xbox-one/PS4_Games_vs_Xbox_One_Games

I have said since Xbox and PS2 days that the Xbox is for the player who likes fast action and big guns. The Playstation is for the player that likes unique game experiences and engaging narrative.

Whatever platform you choose... you'll get an amazing system with a kickass library of games.

Oh, and ESO is on both!

You should be able to complete 1 or 2 Fallout quests during the loading screens, at least that's how it went in my experience. o:)

Oh I'll be playing both ESO and FO4, but since I'm at the cp cap, I'll be playing more Fallout for awhile.

Wanted to complete my first quest this morning, but the target I had to kill fell through the floor and got stuck. Closed the game and logged into ESO.

    but not playing fallout 4.

FO3 was awesome and I got all the DLCs but the series felt like it lost the replay value within my first hour of playing new vegas so I moved on. Maybe I'll go back someday years from now when I'm bored and done with mmos :p

I've no interest in post-apocalyptic and shooter MMOs so naturally I will stick to ESO. On a related note I have seen plenty of population in ESO so I'd say not too many performed the switch or did and decided to play ESO anyway lol

Its not an MMO. Maybe you should brush up on what it actually is since you seem confused.

Got it on my pc, cranked graphics up to max and love it, great gameplay, great story (so far only about 14 hours in) all in all a winner, haven't had any bugs really, had to quicksave and re enter once due to a small glitch, but that's it.

Really recommend it over the ps4/xbone graphics really are world's apart , consoles are only supporting 30fps , which is poor imo, and the field of view is pathetic in comparison.

Pre-ordered Fallout 4. Not as huge a fan as some others, mostly because I remember Fallout 1 and 2 and how I liked them. Bethesda's redefnition has always seemed a little lame to me but I'll give it a second go.

I have 19+ hours in and I'll play it off and on for awhile, after the bugs are fixed. And yes, there are bugs. The UI alone ... just don't get me started.

ye there are some bugs... and some weird *** happening to your dog (teleporting around like what?) if you play it you understand but i do really enjoy the story just listening to what they say and asking questions about the different fractions ect.
fall-out is skyrim in a different setting that does some things beter then tes/eso does/did. like your action can influance the relation you have with a fraction allthough it isn't as big as it was in new vegas you still see it back in the game. and with the new feature to build things you start looking around more looting things like fuses just to get copper which can be used for copper wires to power things in your village(s).
downside is that power armor though, im not in the mood to have to search those power cores so i can use that armor for jusr 30 minutes. i get why they did it but after the mision you got the armor and my battery was dead i never wore it again while i do have enough cores atm.
UI can be beter though and sometimes you can get stuck. but hey wouldn't be a bethesda game without them ;)
