UGH. I fear for the future of TES 6.
ZOS... please do not use Fallout 4 for UI inspiration. Just to be safe, you should destroy all copies of the game that employees might have and institute full body searches upon entry to the building to avoid contamination.

The exact type of PC supremacy that brought about #PCMasterRace. If you've played on console you know how wrong you are. I'll leave here before I start a flame war. #PCMustardRace

Don't like single player games, no matter how good the story is. It lacks the one thing i love the most - other people around you.
They could make the most innovative super duper uber single player game that is best in the universe for now and ever, i still wouldn't play it simply cause it's single player. My preference and nothing will change it, nothing ever has.
On the other hand, ESO is a little bit different, generally speaking. Sure, we have our share of jerks, but, on the whole, most of the people I've run in to seem to be a bit less jerky. Maybe it's the atmosphere of an ES game? Maybe it's the way the game is set-up or maybe it's just because, in general, I truly do believe that the majority of players have had some sort of exposure to TES's long history and understand that it's "Play as you want", even when that is sometimes difficult.

I agree. Been through quite a few MMOs with shoddy playerbases that easily ruin the experience. This 1 isn't angelic, but it isn't the worst I've seen. Almost... lol

Had to laugh; that is a good way to describe this type of game.

It's not the actual playerbase that i want, it's the feeling of not being alone, even if it means not talking to them, they are there and it feels like an actual world. I mean you aren't going to talk to all random strangers IRL you come across, but the fact you always have that option if you want. This option doesn't exist in a single player game. Also the fact that nothing you do in a single player game has any significance, you play theough it and it's done. You don't risk anything as you can save you your progress every 2 steps and if something goes wrong, you just hit F9 and continue as nothing ever happened.
In a server based MMO what you do has consequences for you and others both directly and indirectly, not so much story wise but in terms of interaction between yourself, other players and the world. That is the factor that makes a game immersive for me. I don't need well written quests or pretty grass textures or minimalistic UI and whatnot. The fact the world is alive and populated with other players is immersive enough for me.
A single player title no matter how good will never offer any of this.
