Most of the time casuals are the ones who have a job and wife and kids ( which means lots of $$). Making a good buisness decision is not stupid it's actually pretty smart. This might be a game but make no mistake it's still a buisness. U lose casuals who pay $$/ fail to attract new players means no $$ to keep making new content/updates which means eso dies and this is bad for all of us. So nth about this is stupid.....yeah losing hardcore loyal fans is painful but catering to maybe 5% of ur potential customer base would be the stupid move. Having said this I would like to point out I play 3 hours a day but I do understand the need to cater to those who can only play maybe an hour or so a day or even less. They are the ones more likely to spend $$ on things to speed up their progress etc so it's natural that the game would cater more to them...
Ok maybe you didn't read my post right, but I gave them credit for thinking in terms of business. Yes it's a smart decision to appeal to casuals, but that's not stopping me from calling it a stupid decision. Just like I can respect your opinion, I'm not obligated to like it or you.

Why? Because of the very thing that got them lot's of CP, they play a lot!
So other than restricting players from playing they will always be ahead you all need to understand this fact.

Pretty sure people get that. I wish those that were opposed to a cap would get that.

Well I am one of those people, my point is the cap won't make any difference as matter of fact some of those
same people were always at the top even before the champion system was released.

What is the point of not advancing your character build, proving you can mash a button faster?
Got to run just got into my PvP campaign where no one actually talks about CP except when they earn one.

AHHH A competitive game. Being so super powerful you can kill a dozen other players without a sweat. That's competitive? You want competition bro? Take me on with the same number of CP points.

yea lets do naked duels without skills.
Think he ment advancing is core of every mmo. no progress = no sense. If i want pure competition i would go and play sc2 or something.

Any MMO that requires you to eat hotpockets, drink red bull and wear a diaper to stay "Competitive" is doomed to fail.
I am glad to see this change!

I see you are of the mind set that actually believes when there are no CP you won't get rektd.
You are in for a big surprise.

Any cap is a slap in the face of those who have put in the time to grind, grind, and more grind to get the CP they have. If I loose CP because of the whiners and complainers I will most likely move on from this game. It is a constent NERF fest. If you want to be at the top you have to put in the time. If you do not put in the time then why should you expect to be at the same level.
