There's just no incentives to PVP anymore. AP isn't really worth much (you can't buy VR16 loot with it) which also means there's nothing for PVPers to sell. When I was doing major runs with my guild, I'd easily go through 20K a night on siege, potions and wall repair kits. Yeah, you can buy them with AP for free, but it's NOT cost effective long term to get walls up.ChaosWotan wrote: »It is now primetime Saturday and no activity from the War Council at Axe, our home campaign. I get the feeling Orsinium will be released on time. Xmas releases always do better just because and in b2p money is everything.
I'd bet it will be full of bugs and the last on time quarterly dlc

And yet another negativity filled post. Love this community so hard.
Also, I definitely would not buy Fallout IV upon release. Bethesda's games are always super glitchy upon release. I am waiting at least 6 months to get it.

Oddly, Imperial City really highlighted a lot of the potential the game has. The music is better, the environments are more detailed and breathtaking, it feels like there's a sense of urgency. It's really well done. I get the feeling that there's actually a war going on, something Cyrodiil has never really conveyed. Hell, something most of the campaign has never conveyed (e.g. we're marching our army... but, uh, you go on ahead and do all the work, we'll catch up!). It's moody, dark and seriously well done.bob.ellisonb16_ESO wrote: »I think one of the reason why people are mad is because the game has so much potential, so many things in it are good but on the other hand so many poor decisions are made by upper management, there seems to be a real lack of leadership amongst the team leads and a general lack of knowledge about how their own game is being played.
They need to make small fun changes that follow agile development, instead of sweeping game breaking changes that effect to many players and break tons of stuff.
I think that hits the nail on the head. Leading up to IC, there was a lot of broken items, and ZOS kept going "It'll be fixed come our next content update!". Why are we waiting a month plus to get an exploit fixed? Or a broken skill? Why are we waiting weeks to get bugs fixed that ZOS says they have a fix for, but are holding it back?bob.ellisonb16_ESO wrote: »They need to make small fun changes that follow agile development, instead of sweeping game breaking changes that effect to many players and break tons of stuff.

i think its been past it for a long time for alot of people but the lack of another game to go to has kept them here
i have not logged on in 4 weeks, and it seems like everything is the same crap show.
I always hoped this would be my go to game for a long time...but ......you screwed that up too. I do not miss this game. i have played many other games, some older and some newer, and this one DOES NOT MEET MY GAMING STANDARDS.. i dont care how pretty they make their game look, its whats inside that prettiness that matters. i feel this game has ALOT of fluff.....but that fluff can not even work properly ...you fail. you dont even have the basic MMO stuff in ...chat , numbers, a buff bar....BUILDS....LFG ....
the more i played this game, the more it frustrated me... i personally feel like if you really thought about what YOU ( the players) wanted in a game, is this the one that delivers? this is the best out there? really?? not for me it doesnt. and i refuse to play/support a game that i dont like .
the LFG tool( fail) sucking up space and code, put something useful there, like a auction house. people would use that! , that was a waste of a paycheck! what the hell did those guys do with all that free time?
lag/ loading screens.....secret way to give your servers some breathing room? your last DLC made a mess of your product. seriously......A MESS.... i know you read the forums....well at least the baby sitters do, come talk to us about your mess and how pretty it is...maybe we can discuss how things can progress for the better, maybe shoot some great ideas from the community that plays / cares...... then you can go back , and do the complete opposite and screw it up even more, while pissing off MORE customers....maybe there will be cookies.... and maybe a LURK...
I LOVE THE ELDER SCROLLS ( before this game ) , fantastic lore, LOTS of fans, been around for a long time.... somehow your interfering with that, your meddling with something , you say you care but i dont think thats true at all.... i am not going to sit around and watch you destroy something that was doing so much better without you messing it up .
might seem a bit drastic, but i really enjoyed elder scrolls games for a very long time....still play Skyrim and mod with it......... until ZOS came along..... i dont think this should have been a MMO ( because its not! ) it should have been single player. that is what elder srolls games are , single player......i dont think you capitalized on this right....you missed the mark.
I think the that was the Tamriel Unlimited relaunch (a terrible name for ESO, but...).I think this game need to pull a "realm reborn", if not to late.

free to play is not having o buy dlc or the game like neverwinter that is f2p this is already b2p

The biggest things they need to do is really invest in post-Molag Bal content. The game slams up against a wall when you hit it. More activities, more interesting daily quests, more reason to revisit old content. This is one of the best games I've played, but it's not without flaws.
They've greatly changed how combat is done in this game with 1.6 and 1.7. It's clear ZOS sees a lot of the flaws and are working to fix them (sort of 'rebooting as they go'). So I imagine there's an end-goal to go with it, just not quite sure what it is.
I would have but it's really the only interesting mmorpg for consoles, I'm on the ps4 otherwise I would of moved to neverwinter by now...but at least that game will be released March 2016 supposedly

Start saving your money now. That one is a serious P2W with a half dozen different currencies to buy.

I didn't read the 4 pages as I assume it's the usual complainers and players who quit but still visit the forum frequently. So as a reply to the OP. Because people stopped complaining you think / conclude that players gave up? Maybe complainers gave up who were mostly the same people with several threads.
I stopped watching ESO live a few months ago. There is nothing interesting and as a German I felt embarrassed watching that one guy (can't remember his name) with his sad attempts at jokes followed by a terrible forced smile.
I guess a lot of people tune in when something is about to be released or has just released.
If you play the game and are worried about the state, why not playing the actual game and make an educated guess about how players think instead of interpreting numbers and observations that hardly represent anything.
