Just look at the forums. Many people are ticked off. I'm looking for a new game. I would stick with ESO but i don't want it to crash and burn two years in to me grinding nonstop

I imagine one reason last night's ESO Live audience was down, assuming it was, is that the agenda excluded the usual Q&A session as well as more general game presentations and related pretty much to IC which not everyone is interested in.

Plus the fact that Gina wasn't there of course  !

There seems to be less people playing in the PVE areas, but I attributed it to younger players starting school again and IC.

I had 100 friends just 5 months after launch and I soloed PvE for the first 4 months cause I wanted to have good stats was ganking ok with a bow in full heavy green no set bonuses straight Skyrim mode don't know the crafted sets had got better. Pride of the Pact found me solo vs four gankers and winning after they found out I was stamina heavy I was in the guild.

I have to say guilds make this game. All the bugs in PvP would have drove me away before I invested time in to it. I have gone from a guild of 150 PvPer to solo with the a friend if they are online. From 100 friends and 80 people online line at a time to 7 in prime time

Lost alot of my faith in the game when the lightning patch fiasco hit, only thing that keeps me playing currently is the people i play the game with and theres a common trend among us all, noone of us really like the game that much and more then half our guild has quit or gone inactive.

ZoS needed to realise that sometimes less is more.. the game during 1.4 was great and the best patch so far imo.

ESO live audience dropping is due to people finding out what the game is like and not wanting to sit and listen to people dodge the main issues, and go on about a product they haven't played or have the right information for.

I think more and more people are realizing that bashing, whining, and insulting, are not constructive, and that a person can carry on an adult conversation without them and still get their point across. Or maybe they just found one of these:

That's all they do is dodge the questions. Not sure why people eat that stuff up because it's just the same PR nonsense with minimal effort

Please vote in the console text chat thread so ZoS can see how many people want text chat

...and dueling in the dueling thread but personally I want text chat first...

Like it or not, this game would have done perfectly fine if they catered to the Elder Scrolls fans and kept MMO as an acronym rather than catering to the MMO genre. Somewhere along the line they thought they could have both without conflict. They built the game for their Acronym idea and marketed it to the genre crowd. This neither draws in the large crowd they could have had and ticks off the crowd they marketed too. Hey don't fuss on me I'm taking this from what they say vs. their actions.

I guess they never heard of the old saying, You can't have your cake and eat it too.

I believe IC was to try and keep a promise but had to be changed because of how long it took them to open a new part of the map. The future of this game rests on the shoulders of Orsinium, after that opening up the rest of the map will tell the tale of whether this game will survive.

I personally like the game but I do have to take breaks from time to time. That still doesn't mean I agree with how they market it compared to the game it is.

I've told the story several times how I got into beta only a week after applying, I told them I had no intention of buying this game unless they convinced me otherwise. Well I got in and they convinced me to play it,,,, but only because I had nearly a year to get use to it first. If I would have only listened to their marketing, I never would have picked it up, like many of my Elder Scrolls friends still have not done.

Lack of options when it comes to character path. I mean they will change things and nerf things but never allow you the option to change your race or even your character look. This is killing me. All of the sorcs out there that chose the standard high elf breton heavan forbid if you want to go stam..people do not like leveling up with your current system Zos and maybe thats the real problem.

I have a feeling Orsinium release will be put back for months, if not years. And who's going to play it? A lot of people bought the dlc and hate it. Lots of subs have been cancelled. If anyone is left are they gonna risk their money on another dlc that could make the game even worse than it is now?

More like people first tried to be constructive but found that in vein. People then tried more aggressive ways but still no response or even got banned. At last, people leave and somehow you interpret that as people finally getting their pacifier.

They will only screw up so many times before they just turn the servers off and cut their losses. Many of the people playing have no idea that this could happen.

It would help the game a lot if they add a ****ing optional chat box on consoles. Too many people I know who have given up on eso because of no chat box.

    RP is impossible

Getting help for world bosses or anything is near impossible.

Trying to get a group for a dungeon is a headache and doesn't happen most of the

Cyrodill was a million times better and more fun with a chat box, on console at the mo its lifeless and dull in comparison.

All of these things, i got through on pc with mo problem why? Because i used the chat box.
    Please zos sort it out

Game's kinda boring these days. PvP update turned out be nothing but a huge PvE grind, Cyrodiil PvP is nearly dead and the zerg is stronger than ever.

IC was make or break and it's clearly broken.

And yet, as usual, ZOS has not had one single word on this. That's the kind of "we are listening to you" ZOS has been talking about. I guess they just care too much to give a canned response like "we will look into it".

I love ESO, but... I dunno. IC was a great expansion, but ultimately killed the end game for me. I see no reason to keep going on. Grinding for hours upon hours upon hours for ingots, leather, cloth and trophies is just not my idea of fun. Loot across the board has been nerfed, PVP has become really hit or miss with most PVPers split between PVP and having to grind, grind, grind to even be competitive in PVP. So the community has been really split, and it's just killed my interest in the game.

Fallout is cool but its not a mmo..

Whereas that's a major redeeming quality for me ... just wish it allowed cooperative play with one other player.

... heck, if Skyrim or Oblivion had, I'd likely have never seriously considered purchasing two copies and subscriptions for ESO.

IC was a huge disappointment for serious PVPers, my guilds and friend list reflects that slot of people have stopped playing.

I still enjoy the game, but I feel like I'm always waiting for this game to get better and am ending up disappointed. They can't even fix the group finder, add arenas, dueling, etc...

Stickin here until Battlefront then Division. Fallout is cool but its not a mmo. So its not for me.

Well. I mostly play single player games (DOOM, Skyrim and so on). Never cared for MMOs. Just play this cause is a Elder Scrolls game.

The reason people feel confused is because the Champion System delayed Spell crafting to the point where we don't even here it mentioned beyond a very vague soon, well... kinda soon.

Spell crafting was supposed to be the huge pick me up for this game.

    Why, how?

Repeatable Mages Guild activities, it adds value and importance to the guilds. Fighter's Guild activities are go to Cyrodiil, talk to NPC, go kill 10 random NPCs. Great guild importance, immersion and fun. At least Undaunted pretend to like you with terrible RNG.

I liked this game for a while. It has Elder Scrolls in the title it had potential in becoming one of the greatest games that has a wide open world which allows anyone to group up and go stomp on Daedric scum or go it alone and possibly make friends along the way in every area of Tamriel. I wanted this game to succeed in every way, I really did. The character creation and options to make him/ her your own is brilliant. Not perfect but more than the games I had played.

But the things that spoiled it was the over zealous use of the nerf hammer, a knee jerk reaction by ZOS to the minority of players who deemed that every class was overpowered in some way. Then came the band aids to stop some minor bugs and exploits being used which in turn create more bugs that made the game almost impossible to play.

The things that should have been saw to first were the bugs that still plague the game since it became live. In some ways, ZOS want to please everyone but they had forgotten about the bugs that are in since PC launch.
I wanted this game to be more Elder Scrolls than an MMO. All I'd like to see and play was Elder Scrolls with multiplayer options.

I have shelved my ESO in a vain hope that the devs will knuckle down and do what they're supposed to do. If not, Roll on Ark and DOOM!

It is now primetime Saturday and no activity from the War Council at Axe, our home campaign. The map is all red. It's dead. Wow, ESO has really destroyed PvP so far. Hope things will change when other campaigns end.
