Personally, I sold more than 80k last week. Well, I'd prefer not to upload goods every half and hour, Instead, just upload all at once for a while.
And join some specialized guilds that I can go out to play with guildies.
And hope I could take some time off without worrying about being kicked out by all guilds.

I'm not super rich. I only have around 100k at this time... been spending a lot of time in IC, so not really been selling much lately.

Taking the question in the OP more seriously (although the poll is too broad to provide a viable survey of viewpoints IMO), I actually don't mind it too much the way it is. I think there could be improvements certainly, but I don't mind the overall concept.

I think the weakness of that system is that when your guild mates start losing interest particularly if it is the GM you lose the outlet of the trader. I think it was a novel idea just not really valid in practice.

So start your own trading guild then. You'll need to put a lot of cash up front, and personally support the guild for a while. Then have to put up with people calling you dictatorial without having the first clue about all the work you are doing and all the cash you personally put into it. Give it a go, you'll love it :)

On pc, guild trading is ok because of addons.
On consoles, guild trading is PAINFUL, because do not even get to know
WHAT was sold and WHERE it was sold. :s

Therefore, I can't vote. On pc I am happy, on console I am BLIND.

I want an auction house so bad in this game.

I've spent 10 hours at least looking for a single low level recipe that I have not been able to find anywhere for sale. The guild trader system hurts my eyes, and I hate it.

Agree on this. Can we make the texts larger? They hurt my eyes too.

I find the system to be garbage when I want to buy something, but selling is not a bad experience. Sometimes stuff stays listed a long time and expires since I am not in a top guild, but I can usually get market prices on high end items like glass fragments.

This is a good point. I play on PC with add-ons to save my searches so I think what we have now is fine, but if I was a console player or didn't play with add-ons I would probably hate the guild store system for being too much of a hassle.

Well they could implement the option to change font sizes, but they haven't yet. :(

The search option would also be nice, if we could do that.... and cathegory for items such as treasure maps, because untill now you can only see the treasure maps of you browse through the whole store. It's so stupid, because trading guilds usually got hundrets of pages of materials and items for sale.

i hate it as having to rely on a guild to sell things is a nightmare, i've been removed from some guilds because of lack of attendance (not my fault i have a life and other games i wanna play)and others that i just cant afford to contribute the weekly fee.
Still not used to guilds being this way and i was here at beta, am only in 1 guild atm and there really nice and i'm happy with em But still hate having to rely on guilds to sell my crap.
also still get unsure what price to sell what at.

    this need an Auction House

For the hundreth time...No the current guild system is terrible and only helps the people with access at the top. In Rawlka there's what 6 guild traders and another 6 in Grahtwood? So from an AD perspective maybe there's 12 guild traders you would go to to buy from....that's at a max 6000 people. And if you want to sell something and you aren't apart of the 6000 people, well you might as well vendor it or spam zone.

So by conservative numbers say there's 100k people playing on NA/PC. Assuming an equal split, that's 33,000 people in AD (probably way more than that) and you only have access to at most 6000 people's wares. What about the other 27000?!?

So if you're part of the 6k, then sure...the system works great and you sell your wares without the competition of everyone else. But if you're not, the economy isn't available to you.

Let's not forget that you cannot save search filters on consoles. Having to enter the various filters every time you interact with a different guild trader is tedious. Then again, that seems to be ZoS' overall design goal... tedium. On PC the guild traders are only tolderable because of add-ons. I'm not sure what solution would be best but the current system desperately needs to be improved for consoles.

Each zone city center has a trade area with at least 6 stores, every zone also shares same trade store, take the time to visit them if you want to become an active trader, finish cadwell's silver and gold then you can visit EVERY trade store in every zone.

Active traders visit all stores to buy and sell, you need put the effort in as well

Dont really care for this type of trading system.

When selling items takes that much time and effort. The vendor can have my items.
Im not going to sit there and try to sell this item there and this item there. To me it a waste of valueable gaming time.

Stupid system imo. Everyone should be able to sell wares equally .

Or, In the case of an auction house, watch 3 people snap up all the goods and set the prices for everyone else across the entire network, immediately snapping up anything that undercuts their price and charging double . Or perhaps, watch as all of your mats and low end items go unsold due to shear volume. Then if they do sell, its for damn near less than you could vendor it to an npc because everyone playing the game unloaded all of their junk in the same place you did.
