So, yeah, just been busy and threading in other areas and reading though PTS and PVP and having to work
I have been watching
Personally, LOVING IC!!! Like MAD!. Joined a 40+ person Zerg last night which was just crazy. I mean, it was a laugh and all, but got very bored very quickly. I really am not sure what people see in it.
It took 13 attempts to get to a Trophy room last night as well, as Yellow were camping it. After the 5th attempt and repeated spamming of "I have no stones, I'm just trying to get to trophy room" I just ran into the middle of them and hitting "/dance".
By the 13th time, they all just stood there, watched, and let me pass to the room
Hmm, I don't remember ever seeing that, but then again ever since launch over 90% of the non-jewelry gear I've used has been crafted, and for a long time after launch I didn't level enchanting, so it took me a long time to really start playing around with swapping out enchants on jewelry. So it's entirely possible that such a thing did (or does?) exist and I just never noticed...Does anyone recall items having a lock symbol on them? And it meant you couldn't change the enchantment?
I'm wondering if I. Getting confused with another game or if it did exist on ESO (or, if it still does)
@Urquan you been around awhile

@MissBizz Yeah there's been locked enchantments for a while; not sure if they were around at launch, but I do remember seeing them last year. I think it's usually on certain quest reward items which have non-standard enchantments.Does anyone recall items having a lock symbol on them? And it meant you couldn't change the enchantment?

3 of us PVE folks were questing in Imperial City earlier and ran into an enemy player... We started fighting him, he started dancing, so we stopped and waved and stuff. Had a nice conversation where he asked us to kill him, we objected, and then finally agreed if he promised to pretend to fight back. Good times

Are you NA or EU? I ask because in my time in IC (granted, that's only 3 visits, but the visits were relatively extended - enough time to get all of the questline done and a bunch of dailies) the only zergs I've seen are EP. Maybe the 2 campaigns I've been on just happen to be EP-heavy?So I assume the gangs all been out enjoying life in IC...but page SIX?
I've spent next to no time in PvP prior to IC, but I gotta say I'm having a blast!
Sure I'm getting my a$$ handed to me by better players more times than not. And nothing makes me invent new and even more colorful words than turning a corner right into a AD or DC zerg, but I'm getting the hang of it and and adapting.

Hmm, I would offer to group up with you to help out, but my highest level EP character is only VR2, so I don't think she's quite ready for IC yet...I'm just down the coast from you @UrQuan in Oregon state so I'm NA.
I'm also starting to think I'm a zerg magnet. If there's one anywhere on the map, I seem to run into it.

Hmm, I guess that's true. I haven't actually played that character since the patch, though, so I should probably at least try to get a handle on how her build has changed before trying to take her to IC. Also, she's built largely to be a werewolf. That could either be awesome or terribad in IC. I'm not sure which...Hmm, I would offer to group up with you to help out, but my highest level EP character is only VR2, so I don't think she's quite ready for IC yet...I'm just down the coast from you @UrQuan in Oregon state so I'm NA.

I saw quite a few VR1/2's in IC. You do get battle levelled to VR14.. hmm....

I'll play around with her werewolf stuff a bit first to see how the changes to it affected her wolfy efficiency. I strongly suspect that if I go into Imperial City in "rawr, I'm a big scary werewolf" mode I'll probably quickly get Dawnbreakered to death, but if I find her WW form to be powerful enough, I'm willing to give it a try anyway.Hmm, I would offer to group up with you to help out, but my highest level EP character is only VR2, so I don't think she's quite ready for IC yet...
Don't feel bad, my highest AD is I think lvl 15. Part of the reason for the second account was to have more flexibility when grouping, but alas, so many characters and not enough time.
Feel free to give me a shout the next time your in the mood to dust off that EP character in IC, I'm the same name in game as here.

I just realized that the debuff I put on folks (and make sure I keep on them darn Templars, as a wise man once told me "Them [snip] just keeping healing themselves") in IC ALSO has a buff saying my next attack will be 20% stronger! I've been doing it all wrong. I was always throwing a dot on them afterwards, but now I know to use toppling charge (since, you know, I like to stay far away at first)
This PvP thing is a real eye opener.
Almost feel like I've been fighting more than fishing.. that's odd..

lol you didn't know that? Both morphs (and the base skill they morph from) give you Empower - that's the main reason I use it when I'm DPSing! And the reason I use the other morph from you is because when I'm doing DPS I like to be in close, pop Solar Barrage (the morph you don't use - which unlike Dark Flare has no cast time) to cause damage to everyone around me and give me Empower to bump up the damage of the Impulse (actually I use the Elemental Ring morph of Impulse) that I follow it up with.I just realized that the debuff I put on folks (and make sure I keep on them darn Templars, as a wise man once told me "Them [snip] just keeping healing themselves") in IC ALSO has a buff saying my next attack will be 20% stronger! Now if I had been there in my Khajiit I would have been down there fishing and we wouldn't have had anyone to keep watch. Oh that one's easy @Shunravi. You bring @UrQuan with you while he is on his Templar. He keeps watch, and I fish .. since.. he doesn't need to fish on his Templar due to no banking fishies anymore.
I would like a passive that allows my to fish while stealthed though. That would help. lol

I don't think it's nearly as effective to pop it and follow up with Puncturing Sweep, because Empower only works on your next attack, and I think that means it would only increase the damage on the first of the 4 hits Puncturing Sweep does. But bumping up the damage on Impulse is pretty effective - especially if you hit a lot of enemies with it.Now if I had been there in my Khajiit I would have been down there fishing and we wouldn't have had anyone to keep watch.
