lol that's awesome. I love Powell's. Last time I went to Portland I went to Powell's in the morning and bought about $50-$60 worth of books. Then I went to some brew pubs trying out different beers. Then when I was a bit tipsy (it was mid afternoon at this point) I decided it was a good idea to go back to Powell's, and I spent about another $100 or so on more books - mostly ones that I had already seen but decided against buying when I was sober. My bags on the train home were way heavier than they were on the train down there...

My hubby is a total elephant joke expert, my kids were raised on them, there's several that still make me crack up even after hearing them so many times.

This is one such sequence.............

Q: How many elephants will fit into a Mini?
A: Four: Two in the front, two in the back.
Q: How many giraffes will fit into a Mini?
A: None. It's full of elephants.
Q: How do you get two whales in a Mini?
A: Along the M4 and across the Severn Bridge.
Q: How do you know there are two elephants in your refrigerator?
A: You can hear giggling when the light goes out. (Or: Two footprints in the butter)

Wish I'd known you were going to be in Portland last week @newtinmpls it would have been fun to say Hi in person since that's where I live.

Dang.... and there were 4 of us ESO-sters; @sekou_trayvond , @riverwind (don't know if she is actually a forum poster) and my beloved @Francis_Toliver

Oddly enough we found ourselves playing board games ... and I did NOT get myself a copy of "exploding kittens" (you have to defuse them or everyone dies).

And food. I went to Mother's while I was there.... oh I could go broke there.

Of course if I really lived in Portland, I would spend so much time in Powells I'd get fired, so that would be bad.

For those of you who have been able to enjoy and test One Tamriel on PTS.

Please take good notes!

I'm now stuck in the wondrous journey of watching the launcher cruise at a blistering average of 200 kbps as it re downloads my PTS client

Luckily live still works, so I'm able to continue training new players in the ways of playing like a Knucklehead....

But I'm beginning to suffer from severe PTS withdrawals!

If I wake up in the AM and find that I still can't get in...There just might be a Grand Mal Tantrum in my future!
And trust me after working at a university for the past 24+ years...I've had a LOT of examples to use as reference

Oh...now up to 73% complete!

Probably be done just in time for Tuesdays maintenance

Edit: Well for those of you waiting for the tantrum...sorry

Woke up this morning and had PTS ready to go! Lots more to explore, but looks like One Tamriel is going to be a lot of fun. Not quite sure what to make of Craglorn as of yet though. It's either stupid easy...or one helluva lot harder than I remember depending on where you are. Either that or I'm a lot more rusty than I thought. I do like the Dolmens now, not such a face-roll as before.
