Up by Gladmist Mine, you can carefully walk all the way up into the branches.
Of course, that distraction got us killed lol.

I planned on postposing tonights stream and having it tomorrow.. since it's my fiance's birthday.. and I figured PTS wouldn't be up.. it was the perfect plan...

Maybe he will want to play more of those new COD maps that just came out though, and I can be like "that's okay hun, it's your birthday, we don't need to hang out.. you go do whatever you want!"

...and then I stream and play on the PTS

Can't he just postpone his birthday? And can he really be sure that it's today anyway? I mean, isn't he just taking the word of his parents for that? How does he know they haven't just been playing a joke on him all these years?

So I was planning on going on the PTS tonight (as I did for a bit last night, and a bit this morning before work), but somehow instead I ended up deciding to log on to Live and do some PVP.

As many of you probably know, I'm not much of a PVPer. I'm not very interested in it, and as a result I'm not very good at it (because I don't tend to get much practice). I appreciate PVP more from the perspective of "this adds an additional exciting element of danger to this PVE stuff I'm doing in Cyrodiil/Imperial City". I've done a bit of intentional pure PVP without any PVE being involved here and there, and it's not something I want to do all the time, but every now and then it sure can be fun.

Anyway, the only point of this post is that as it turned out I had a blast tonight PVPing. I wasn't doing anything that required a great deal of skill - I tagged along with a zerg, healed the hell out of them, threw some Meteors around, resurrected dead allies, used a little bit of siege. The zerg carried my ass, but I contributed, and I had a lot of fun. I got killed a few times - sometimes in ways that required no skill on the part of the other players (like when half the enemy zerg goes after me because I'm healing), and sometimes by enemy players who were clearly very good. It didn't matter, and didn't make me rage when it happened. I just waited for someone to res me, or respawned at the keep (depending on the situation), and then got back into it.

So this is your reminder: every now and then it can be nice to try something in the game that's not what you normally do when you log on. Switch things up every now and then: it can be fun.

Glad you had fun out there, tho. I stuck my nose into PTS but that zone is so small I don't want to do too much and spoil it.
I reset my CP on my sorc because of the changes and he ended up pretty much 2 shotting everything in his path.
They need to tone that down just a bit, I think.

Yup, I was pugging. Not nearly as efficient as the couple of times I've run with a well-organized guild group in PVP, but it was still lots of fun. Hmm, I actually won't be going to hockey tonight like I usually do on Fridays, and I think Friday Night Fights are still a thing... Maybe I'll join in!

I haven't really played around with the CP changes on the PTS yet. Just about all I've tried out so far are some tests around the sorcerer pet changes, and some tests around the templar changes. I should really check out the CP changes... I don't want to get very far into the TG quests. I'm not as worried about spoiling it for myself as I was with Orsinium, but still I'm more interested in trying out the gameplay changes on PTS rather than doing quests that I'll need/want to do again on live after the release anyway.

I keep having to repair the launcher every time a patch comes through the PTS, so I'ma be here munching on caramel corn until I can get in. I did manage to get a screenshot of almost every costume for the UESP, modeled on both a female and a male PTS char. I swear, I'ma be broke before long with how cool some of them are... As for you, PC friends:

Hey all!

Started new job.

Got sucked into Fallout 4.

Last night ... or was it the weekend... got back into ESO. Had a hilarious time grouping with some friends. My poor dunmer DK is now being followed by a daedrat who she calls and "go away" (not to be confused with her guar mount "stop following me").

The rest of the group decided that his name is Fluffy.. the mystery meat of pets.

And they kept feeding him. Really at this rate I'm never going to get rid of him.

Well created a new character just in time for the servers to all go down....ah well.

I think I actually made a decent looking Nord female. Modeled her after a Breton I used to play in Morrowind. I'll post a pic at some point....
