Hawk269✭✭✭I am on the West Coast and bought ESO Plus and was charged immediately for it, so today, June 8th is counting as day 1 of my paid time. Will ZOS be giving people that bought ESO Plus an extra day or something? It not that big of a deal, but just curious.
I am just about to put all my snacks and drinks back into the fridge and go to bed. What is sad about this is that many people planned things for launch. I have 4 friends on the East Coast and another 10 or so on the West Coast that were all waiting to get in to get our guild set up and going immediately and well, that is just not happening.
I know ZOS is working on it and I do appreciate people working their ass off to get things working, but just want to be clear to ZOS that this is a pretty big hic-up and it will/has started to generate negative feelings towards ZOS and the game.

It was made available the second the game went live on Xbox One. Not sure about PS4, but I already paid and am set, even going to loose my first day due to this outage.

I'm a former Amazon AWS tech. There's always the potential this is not just a coding issue, but a major rack or networking asset dropped somewhere and isn't coming back up as it should. There's always options and points of failure that can exist beyond just the code-side.You would think they would try a little harder on the launch because of the awful reviews the PC version got.
Be patient. It's technically a little two hours into the launch, so it's not that bad. =P Not yet.1 -

So long as everything is up and running by mid day USA times on June 9th, I think it won't effect reviews. I'm pretty sure the servers will be all good by then, sparing a few crashes as every MMO has on launch.

This is rather disappointing that I haven't been able to play at all. I know a lot of you are in the same boat. It just seems they would have been better prepared for this launch instead of giving excuses on how they are looking into the issue.
The short beta on consoles didn't really prove to help at all.1 -
