ESOTU Console Launch - Known Issues

    Since maint. this morning i keep getting lag then eventually kicked saying to check my internet connection. Mean while i can plau any xbox one game online without lag or interruption, can also watch streams via twitch or videos on netflix without problems. Have hard reset xbox and reset modem and router numerous times already any help or tips would be appreciated. Been having a wonderful time exploring and leveling characters, would hate for it to be ruined now

    Same issue since last night ... they said the reboot this morning was supposed to fix this issue - OBVIOUSLY it did not.

    The server is acting all wonky. Twice now, I've received the "too many messages" error while being booted.

    Prior to this, the game would begin to lag. Weapons wouldn't work right and specials were very lagged.
    In addition, enemies would be visible, but couldn't interact. Some would disappear from view.

    I know this is an ongoing issue correction, but wanted to let you know it's doing it. I've stopped playing for the night. I'll rejoin my game tomorrow.

    Servers gone back to garbage already. Having issues when I'm riding around on my horse ill randomly get rubberbanded back plus there have been quite a few instances where ill be in combat and my hits wont connect until a few seconds later. As well a few times when I've gone to loot dead bodies ill be hitting the A button for a good minute or so until it actually loots the body, same with NPC dialogue options.

    SOLUTION FOUND! (FOR ME ANYWAYS)
    Ok, so i was having the 'no internet connection' and login 'xbox live gold required' issues. after getting the auto-reply from support and checking all my connections resetting etc i tried moving the game from my external harddrive back onto my console (this may not be relevant just including it as part of what i did to fix issue in case save data isn't everything) then i deleted my 'saved data' from CONSOLE ONLY(!), this is the little 200 kb file in manage game screen. then i started the game and it synced my saved data from online and poof! gtg, no problems at all anymore, so far anyways lol. hope that helps and u might want to make sure u have cloud saves enabled in settings (I'm not sure if that matters but just in case) Anyways, back to Tamriel!

    Does this ever get updated? It has said the same issues for the last 2 game updates and none of the known issues have changed. I am still having a huge issue with receiving mail which is making things difficult for my group. Has their been any ideas or updates on this?

    I recently ran out of PSPlus and when I got into the game the next day I could not play because the game said I couldn't play if I didn't have PSPlus. This needs to be changed because some people may not be able to purchase PSPlus or XBOX Gold at the time, while the PC Players don't have to pay a subscription fee at all and can save their money and get the ESO Subscription. It just doesn't make sense to make console players sub while PC players don't. I was trying to become a Dunmer Vampire one night then the next morning I couldn't play the game and get my money's worth. Please fix this Zenimax, it would only be fair.

    In response to the one that wants the unstuck timer removed. If you log out then back in the timer is reset and you can get unstuck again :)

    I don't have spaces in my GT, but I frequently run into this problem. It happens so much that I don't even bother with the mail anymore. Could it be because the "B" in Battleaxe is capitalized?

    Man this has been talked about for months; it's the whole reason they made ESO subscription optional.

    Seems like a good idea, but there are people in other countries who have to deal with it, too. I live in Abu Dhabi.

    I know, it makes sense to do it early morning because most people are at work or sleeping, but my schedule is a little different than most. Just sucks for me. haha.

    I'm done fighting with your stupid game. I can't play with my husband which was the whole point of paying 120 plus the prices of the console so we could play together. I just want my money back I feel like I wasted a hundred and twenty dollars on a game that like sykrim is never going to be fixed. Update after update there is no change in the issues that my husband and I face playing with each other. Half the time we spend turning our consoles on and off just to see each other. You know what else sucks that he can't send me mail. Used to be able to can't now. Also the game is messing with my Xbox friends list. This game was a big FAIL for me. I know none of you really care about customer service so getting the money I wasted back I very unlikely. So I bid you all a good bye.

    Ps. The first week before the update I liked the game, too bad you were more worried about long wait times than actual game play. There I no fun playing a game that constantly reminds you, you are playing a video game.

    Is there any chance I'm ever going to get my Imperial edition stuff and crowns for eso plus purchased?? Its been weeks now. I've sent loads of emails and nothing back but check forums and other useless crap!
    Now I'm not even getting a *** reply, I seem to just be getting ignored now.
    Surely its not that difficult to sort out this wide spread problem!
    This is beyond a joke now at this stage. Very disappointing from companies I thought were the very best in the business!

    ^ this my friend has nothing to do with ZOS its the console companies, just like how ZOS has to submit a patch to microsoft and sony before they can patch our games theres alot more hoops to jump through for game makers on console than pc its just a fact of life......

    I'm going to ask again, since I'm being ignored in my own thread and in my emails to you; Where is my explorers pack and the 3000 crowns I purchased at launch? I'm really getting angry over being treated like this, absolutely ABYSMAL customer service!

    That's a real shame, I wish I could get my wife to want to play a video game like this with me. You might just take a break from the game for a couple weeks and see if they fix your issue. I learned yesterday when the game suggests I travel to a friend that I should do it. Both standing on the steps of the bank, seeing our symbols but not each other until I chose to travel to him.

    The stuff I've seen in here about people STILL not getting their crowns or packs is ridiculous. I would think someone could get in touch with these people, confirm their purchases, negate their exisiting codes for these items and put these items in their accounts.

    More like your understanding needs to be fixed.
    Microsoft / Sony have nothing to do with ESO / Bethesda / etc.
    Take your complaint up with them. This isn't an ESO issue, this is a console / software issue. You cannot use online interactions while not a premium subscriber to the console services.

    The sub fee you pay is not for ESO, it's for your console, and it covers way more than ESO.

    Same issue been waiting on my crowns purchased at launch and not even a reply to my emails only automatic ones. The worst customer service I've ever had!!

    I'm going to take a break from the game it hasn't even been a month since it was released and I haven't been able to enjoy the game been getting the you need xbox live to play this game and Invalid Internet Connection errors and have decided to take a break and delete the game for a while I've talked to support for ESO, my ISP, and Xbox Live and no one can fix it they all blame each other for the issues I'm on NA server for Xbox One
